Bhopal,(WTN): On the occasion of Birth Anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Manav Sangrahalaya organized National Integration Day Oath at office premises. In this, Joint Director, IGRMS, Dilip Singh administered Oath of Integration Day to officers and staff of the Sangrahalaya. Then after, ‘Run for Unity’ organized between sacred groves of Manipur open-air exhibition to Desert Village open-air exhibition of IGRMS. Employees of IGRMS Bhopal and visitors participated in these run.
On this occasion, Mr. Singh said “The most famous freedom fighter and Iron Man Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel was done by the voice of unity in the country. He always gave the message of unity to the country. All of us must dedicate ourselves to maintain integrity and security to the unity of the nation and also it should be done to spread the message among all the citizens.
Under the Vigilance Awareness Week 2019 on tomorrow Friday, 1st November, 2019 Sangrahalaya will organize a Slogan writing competition and Special lecture on 02nd November, 2019 will be organized from 4pm at Rock art conference Hall. In this, Lecture will be delivered by Shri Sunil Gautam (Director (Hydro-I), Ministry of Power, GoI, New Delhi) on the topic “Vigilance & Awareness”.
The Officials from Defence forces visited IGRMS
Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Manav Sangrahalaya, Bhopal promotes research and training for salvaging and revitalisation important cultural traditions which are on the verge of extinction. In this series, about 160 retired officers from Indian Army, Air Force and Navy, war veterans of 1971 Bangladesh war and 39th course of National Defence Academy (NDA), Khadakwasala, Pune and 49th regular course of Indian Military Academy (IMA), Dehradun visited IGRMS for a special guided tour.
Terracotta Glaze Pottery Training Workshop from Tomorrow
Under the series of skill development programme conducted by Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Manav Sangrahalaya Bhopal, a two months long Terracotta Glaze Pottery workshop will be started from 1st November 2019 at IGRMS campus. In this workshop training regarding different phases of terracotta glaze pottery making will be given by artist Mr. Dulal Chandra Manna.
