Relish Tribal food 'Zayka' in Tribal Literature Festival from 10 to 12 November at IGRMS

WTN- Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Manav Sangrahalaya is going to organize a Tribal Literature Festival from 10th to 12th November, 2019. During this festival a tribal food festival known as ‘Zayaka’ is also going to organize where near about 40 artisans from different tribal communities will participate.



This festival is organizing to make the people aware about the rich food habits of Indian tribes. The aim and objective of this festival is to highlight and popularize the traditional food habits, richness and nutritious food value of this indigenous food items. Most of the tribal communities will prepare their traditional food by using the natural spices, herbs, vegetables, fruits, roots and tubers of that particular area.

Every region has their own dishes cooked in different style by using different spices and herbs as well as using fuel wood. The venue of this festival is Avritti, Open-air exhibition area and the timing of food festival is 1:30 pm. to 4:30 pm.- Window To News
