Draft of investment related Madhya Pradesh Time Bound Clearance Act-2020 approved

Bhopal 19 Feb 2020: In a Cabinet Meeting held under the Chairmanship of the Chief Minister Kamal Nath at Mantralaya, approval has been given to the draft of Madhya Pradesh Time Bound Clearance Act-2020, keeping in view the process of applications within time limit. Under this, for the first time in the country, 25 permissions/licenses out of 40 permission/licenses in a single day, 10 permissions/licenses in 7 days and 5 permissions/licenses in 15 days of 10 departments will be given for investment in Madhya Pradesh will be given online. This facility will be provided to investors in the field of industry, small industry, IT and tourism.

Similarly, approval has been given in the cabinet meeting to Madhya Pradesh Film Tourism Policy-2020. In compliance to the amendments in provisions made in 2019 in Madhya Pradesh Tourism Policy 2016, the cabinet has given approval to the Madhya Pradesh Film Tourism Policy-2020 by incorporating these provisions specifying feature films i.e. graded/certified by the Central Censor Board (CBFC) and cinematographic film of 90 minutes, released as per the procedure in cinema halls.

Mohasa-Babai Industrial Township

The cabinet has taken a decision to declare notified industrial area Mohasa-Babai, Hoshangabad district as an industrial township. Within the notified geographical boundaries, the M.P. Industrial Development Corporation Ltd. has been authorized to obtain a separate distribution license for electricity distribution and for further proceedings before the Electricity Regulatory Commission.

The cabinet has given approval for payment of Rs. 30 crore 60 lakh 12 thousand through M.P.I.D.C. in CAMPA Fund for deforestation proposals on the protected 197.855 hectare forest land and reserved 16.268 hectare forest land of Industrial area Mandideep/Satlapur, Raisen district.

Administrative sanction of Rs. 129.53 crore for Kabulpur Medium Irrigation Project

The cabinet has given an administrative sanction of Rs. 129 crore 53 lakh for the proposed irrigation capacity in 4090 hectare of Kabulpur (Kamardipur) Medium Irrigation Project of Shajapur. Under this, 3100 hectare land of 11 villages of Moman Badodia tehsil will be facilitated with irrigation through sprinkler system and 990 hectare area of Gulana, Moman Badodia and Sarangpur tehsils with their own sources.

In order to provide staff to the Chief Information Commissioner and Information Commissioners, the Cabinet has sanctioned posts for the office of the Madhya Pradesh State Information Commission. These posts include 4 personal assistants, 3 short hand writers, 3 assistant grade-3 and 2 dak runners, one post each of programmer and computer operator and one driver on outsource basis.

The cabinet under the scheme to provide short term crop loans at zero percent interest rate in the year 2018-19 has decided to keep the base rate of 11 percent for the extended period also as per the fixed base rate of 2018-19. It may be mentioned that the fixed due date of Kharif 2018 and Rabi 2018-2019 seasonwas extended from March 28, 2019 to June 30, 2019 last year.

The cabinet decided to pay the liabilities of the labourers by the State Government with the amount received by auctioning 6 hectares of land of Vinod Mill Ujjain.

The cabinet for effective conduct of departmental works in the Tribal Welfare office of Niwadi district, has given approval for creation of one class-2 gazzeted post and redistribution of one class-3 executive post, 4 clerical posts and one class-4 post.

The cabinet has approved the construction of new airstrip in place of airport construction in Singrauliya of Singrauli district. A total amount of Rs. 35 crore 30 lakh will be spent on construction. The Public Works department has been made implementation agency for the constructin.Window to News
