CM Chouhan to dedicate Manuabhan Tekri water purification plant

Rs 418.37 crore approved for water supply to Bhopal city under AMRUT project 
 
 
Bhopal 25 August 2020 : Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan will dedicate the 50 MLD water purification plant built at Manuabhan Tekri under AMRUT project on Wednesday, August 26 at 11.30 am. Rs. 418.37 crore has been approved under the AMRUT project for water supply in Bhopal city.

The cost of construction of the water purification plant built at Manuabhan Tekri is Rs 13 crore 90 lakh. Along with this, the other expenses related to the water purification plant include, Rs 5.30 crore as cost for construction of Intake Well cum Pump House at Karbala, Rs 12.10 crore as the cost of laying raw water rising main, Rs 7 crore as the cost of construction of 5 high level tanks and cost of laying water distribution pipelines and feeder mains of Rs 28.50 crore.

A Fifty MLD capacity water purification plant based on the water of the Upper Lake has been constructed at Manuabhan Tekri by the Municipal Corporation Bhopal under AMRUT Project. Water will be supplied through high level tanks from this plant to several areas of assembly constituencies Huzur, Berasia, Narela and Govindpura so that the people residing in these areas get pure water easily – Window to News
