IIFM Bhopal ranked 32 and MANIT Bhopal ranked 61 in National Institutional Ranking Framework 2017

The Human Resource Development (HRD) ministry has released the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) rankings for higher educational institutions in India. The Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore has bagged the first position among all education institute and best university category in India.
Among the engineering colleges, The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT)- Madras has once again bagged the first place. Among the engineering colleges of MP two institutes figured in top 100. IIT - Indore is ranked 15 and Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology (MANIT), Bhopal is at 61.
IIM Ahmadabad got first position in the management category beating previous year topper IIM Bangalore. Among the management institutes of MP who got positions in top 100 are IIM-Indore ranked 10; Indian Institute of Forest Management (IIFM),Bhopal at 32 and Atal Bihari Vajpayee-Indian Institute of Information Technology and Management (ABV-IIITM) at 42.
Two educational institutes form MP have figured in top 100 in Pharmacy education. Dr. Harisingh Gour Vishwavidyalaya, Sagar is ranked 11 and Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya (DAVV) , Indore is ranked 31.
In overall ranking of educational institutes, two institutes of MP figured in top hundred. IIT-Indore is ranked 24 and Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) is ranked 98.
Institutes are ranked by the National Bureau of Accreditation (NBA) based on their teaching and learning resources, graduation outcome, perception, outreach and inclusivity and research productivity.
