CM Chouhan to distribute interest-free loans to rural street vendors on December 21

Programme to start at Minto Hall from 3 pm
About 20 thousand street vendors will get interest-free loans
Chief Minister will also interact with beneficiaries through V.C. 
 
Bhopal 20 December 2020: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan will virtually distribute interest-free loans of Rs 10-thousand each under the Chief Minister Rural Path Vendor Scheme to about 20 thousand street vendors on December 21. The programme will be held at Minto Hall from 3 pm. Chief Minister Chouhan will also interact with beneficiaries of some districts through video conferencing in the programme.

The programme can be viewed through Facebook at / CMmadhyapradesh, /jansampark.madhyapradesh, / panchayatandrural and via Twitter at @cmmadhyapradesh, @jansamparkMP, @minprdd. Apart from this, one can register easily by entering mobile number on the website 
www.mp.mygov.in in order to directly connect with the programme.

The Scheme

Interest-free loan of Rs. 10 thousand each is made available to small street vendors of fruits, vegetables, ice cream, bread, biscuits, eggs, shoes, sandals, brooms, bicycle repairing, carpenters, potters, weavers, washermen, tailors etc under the Chief Minister’s Rural Path Vendors Scheme. Credit guarantee is given by the state government. There is no stamp duty. Any rural path vendor in the age group of 18 to 55 can avail this scheme.

40 thousand beneficiaries have availed benefits so far

“Kamgar Setu Portal” is being run by the Madhya Pradesh government to provide benefits easily to the beneficiaries under the scheme, on which more than 08 lakh 52 thousand beneficiaries have been registered so far. Out of these, loan cases of more than 80 thousand beneficiaries have already been approved and the loan amount has been distributed to more than 40 thousand beneficiaries by Chief Minister Chouhan through virtual programmes on September 24 and November 12 – Window to News
