Pensioners will get 7th pay scale
Decision was taken in the Housing Board meeting
Bhopal 23 December 2020: Tulsi Tower Phase-2 will be constructed. It will be developed near Tulsi Tower Phase-1 with 135 flats which will be built at a cost of Rs 135 crores. The flats will be 3 & 4 BHK. This decision was taken in the board meeting led by Urban Development and Housing Minister and Chairman of Madhya Pradesh Housing and Infrastructure Development Board, Bhupendra Singh. Along with this, decision was also taken to construct a commercial cum residential complex in Chhoti Omti Jabalpur at a cost of Rs 40 crore which will have 41 shops, 76 law chambers and 72 flats.
Pensioners will get 7th pay scale benefits
Minister Singh said that the officers and employees of the Board who retired before January 1, 2016, will be given the benefits of the 7th pay scale. This will incur an annual expenditure of about Rs one crore 74 lakh. Decision was also taken to provide compassionate appointment to Mita Kori, daughter of Devi Prasad Kori, an employee of the Board.
Recruitments will be made for 551 posts
Minister Singh said that the Madhya Pradesh Housing and Infrastructure Development Board should take action for filling the vacant posts soon. A total of 551 posts of direct recruitment are vacant which include 34 posts of Class-2, 33 of Class-3 and 187 posts of Class-4. Singh said that recruitments to the posts of assistant engineers should be made through Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission. Posts of Class-3 and Class-4 posts should be outsourced till recruitments are made, so that work is not affected.
In the meeting, it was decided that rebate should be given on penal interest on depositing one time lump sum rent of the residential and commercial premises allotted on freight purchase basis. Similarly, the Commissioner of the Board was authorized to give some discount on depositing the outstanding land rent and to take a decision regarding extension of one time settlement scheme.
Board Commissioner Bharat Yadav said that the wives of martyrs of Rewa district Late Umesh Prasad Shukla and Late Deepak Singh have been given a house in Rewa. The net profit of the board was Rs 1563.48 lakhs in the year 2019-20. Instructions were given to collect pending amount in the colonies of the board.
