Welfare of the poor is top priority of the government
CM Chouhan tells government’s major sources and priorities in the new year 

Bhopal 02 January 2021: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that welfare of the poor is the highest priority of the government. Everyone should strive collectively with dedication to make Madhya Pradesh number one state in the country in all areas including development and public welfare in the new year . Providing services to the public in a time-limit without any give and take is the basic mantra of good governance, which we have to ensure in the state. For this, maximum utilization of technology is must. A good feedback system has to be prepared in the state. Our administration will be as gentle as a flower for gentlemen and harsher than the thunderbolt for the wicked.
Addressing ministers and senior officials through video conferencing in Mantralaya, Chief Minister Chouhan, told about the sources and priorities of the government. He also wished everyone a happy new year.

Twelve key sutras of governance

Stating the 12 key points of administration, Chief Minister  Chouhan said, that our first Sutra is that the public is our God. No one should harbour ego and should work for the service and betterment of the people.

The second sutra is - the poor have the first right over Madhya Pradesh’s treasury. Top priority should be given to the welfare of the poor.

Development of farmers and agriculture is our third important point. Work must be done constantly to reduce the cost of production of crops and to ensure that farmers get better prices for their crops. Special efforts have to be made in the field of food processing and agricultural infrastructure development in the state.

The fourth sutra is – Women Empowerment. We have to empower women economically, socially and academically and give them full respect and protection. Women self-help groups have to empowered. We have brought the Freedom of Religion Bill 2020 for protection of girls.

The fifth sutra is to provide good governance in the state, under which services can be provided to the public in a fixed time frame without having to to run around offices and without any give and take.
The sixth sutra is to free the state from mafia. Intense campaign will continue in the state against drug mafia, adulteration mafia, land mafia, sand mafia etc. Also, full care will be taken to ensure that the common man does not face any problem. No innocent person should be implicated in a false case.

The seventh sutra is - to complete projects on time. For this, I will review big schemes every week, ministers should also review regularly. Officers should ensure quality of work. Projects should be completed with in time.

The eighth sutra is - to be number one in every scheme of the centre. For this everyone should make efforts. Ministers should have constant coordination with the centre and make tours to Delhi. Efforts should be made to obtain maximum amount from the centre under various schemes.

The ninth sutra is - formation of Atmanirbhar Madhya Pradesh for Atmanirbhar Bharat. the roadmap designed for this should be implemented fast.
The tenth sutra is - maximum employment generation. Every department should make efforts. New jobs should be created in both government and non-government sectors. Full attention should be paid to skill development.

The eleventh sutra is - public health. We have to follow both the mantras of Prime Minister which includes “Swasthya hi Sampada hai” (Health is wealth) and “Dawai bhi Kadai bhi”. We have to ensure that our medical colleges and hospitals are of high quality. Also, fever clinics have to be developed in such a way that the public can get primary treatment of all kinds of diseases.

The twelfth sutra is - good education. For this, we have to pay special attention to increasing the quality of education. The CM Rise schools will be opened in the radius of every 20-25 km. Efforts will also be made for academic excellence of universities and colleges.

Focus on these works in the new year

Chief Minister Chouhan also told about the major tasks on which the focus will be in the new year:
To start using “Single Citizen Database” in all beneficiary schemes.
Arrangement of “electronic single windows” for government services.
Providing funds to beneficiaries without delay after approval of various schemes.
Effective implementation of mandi and labour reforms.

Creating new employment opportunities by thinking “out of the box”. Effectiveimplementation of Rozgar Setu portal.

To meet the goals of the Atmanirbhar Madhya Pradesh roadmap in a time-bound manner.
Use of “Dashboard” for monitoring of district level tasks.
Women self-help groups, farmer producer organizations, cooperatives to beturned into public movements.
To ensure high quality public health care and infrastructure.
To implement the concept of CM Rise Schools.

To make the Academy of Administration a high level training institute.
Infrastructure development in urban and rural areas.
To increase capital expenditure to accelerate economy and employment.
To make maximum use of I.T. and provide internet connectivity to every village

Covid vaccination of every person.
To destroy the entire network of mafias.
Prompt lease approval of mineral wealth under the new minor mineral regulations.
Best arrangements for paddy procurement and wheat procurement in the coming time.
Grant of forest rights to tribal communities and their other legitimate rights.
