Old Hawa Mahal situated in Hamidia Hospital Complex will be removed

Bhopal 04 January 2020: Medical Education Minister Vishwas Kailash Sarang has issued instructions to remove the building called Purana Hawa Mahal located in the Hamidia Hospital Complex. This will help expand Block-A of Hamidia Hospital. Also about 70 additional beds will be available. Apart from this, the facilities of traffic in the campus will be expanded. He has said that strict attitude should be adopted to remove any kind of obstructions. FIR should be registered against the obstructor.

Instructions issued for maintenance of electronic health records

Minister Sarang said that the 2000-bedded well-equipped hospital of the state will become the pride of Bhopal. He instructed that the construction work of Block-B should be completed by March. He instructed to make garments used in hospitals like operation gown etc. through self health group. He told to maintain records in the Medical Record Office through electronic health records.

Helpline number will be established

Sarang instructed to start a helpline number for Hamidia Hospital for the convenience of patients. Attendants/family members of the patient will be able to get round the clock information about the patient’s condition through this helpline. He also looked into the status of the CM Helpline cases. He instructed to put pictures of the President, Prime Minister and Chief Minister at the Superintendent’s office. He also told to remove unused notice boards.

Cleaning agency’s payment of two months withheld
