CM holds discussion with ministers in Kolar
Bhopal 05 January 2021: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan held a detailed discussion on the development of the state with the members of the Cabinet at Kolar Forest Rest House near Bhopal today. Chief Minister Chouhan said that the welfare works done for the citizens of the state should be such that after one year Madhya pradesh gets the compliments for it. He instructed to do good work by doing department-wise exercises for the creation of Atmanirbhar Madhya Pradesh.
The work done so far reflects the commitment in public interest; They also got public support
Chief Minister Chouhan said that in the last 9, 10 months, several important steps have been taken to upgrade development and change scenario of the state. General public has also given a supportive reaction to the various works of the government. A positive message has been sent through the action being taken against the mafia and the concerted efforts being made to save the youth from drug addiction. Chief Minister Chouhan said that when the government was formed in the last week of March, the big challenge of Corona awaited them. With this, the work of saving the citizens was done promptly. Effective steps were taken. With the control of the virus, the first roadmap for Atmanirbhar Madhya Pradesh was created.

Chief Minister Chouhan said that the process of brainstorming started as soon as Prime Minister Modi spoke about Atmanirbhar Bharat. Concrete initiative was taken for Atmanirbhar Madhya Pradesh. All ministers, economists, NITI Aayog officials and senior administrative officials brainstormed and prepared the Madhya Pradesh road map. The efforts bore fruits. Madhya Pradesh was the first to have created the road map. Chief Minister Chouhan said that the road map specifies work on the issues of economy, employment, good governance, health and education in detail.
Speed up revenue enhancement
Good revenue collection is possible only with a few efforts to give boost to the economy in the state. There is good achievement in this direction. Madhya Pradesh is ahead of other states especially in GST collection. Efforts for revenue growth should be paced up.
Achievements
Chief Minister Chouhan said that be it the Pradhan Mantri Swanidhi Yojana or the mobility of self-help groups under rural development, Madhya Pradesh has set a record in some works. After the highest wheat procurement in the country, the work of transferring funds to the accounts of farmers was done. Two expressways are in progress in the state. Bhopal’s Global Skill Park will realize employment opportunities on a large scale. Buffer mein safar has started. The system of providing caste certificate, income certificate promptly and the work of benefiting farmers from various schemes without any hassles, is being done remarkably well in the state. This has to be accelerated. A stringent law is being enacted to ban stone pelting. Religious freedom law has been lauded. Other innovations are also being made.
Madhya Pradesh should set an example
Chief Minister Chouhan said that the minister should contemplate and get the departmental schemes implemented expeditiously. By optimum use of capacity, better results can be achieved. Efforts should be made that in the coming year, we should garner more achievements and all other states congratulate Madhya Pradesh. Let us come to such a situation that Madhya Pradesh should come to the leading position and set an example. Chief Minister Chouhan hoped to bring best results in various fields of development. Chief Minister Chouhan also informed about the new system being implemented in connection with sand mining, which will generate more income from revenue. Also, illegal activities will be controlled.
