Bhopal 03 March 2021: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that if green cover increases on our earth, the world will be saved. For this, it is necessary not only to save trees, but also to plant more trees. Every person should take a pledge to plant a tree.
Chief Minister Chouhan, today, taking forward his resolve to plant a sapling a day, planted sheesham sapling and offered Shramdaan in Smart City Park Shyamala Hills. Chief Minister Chouhan said that according to a survey of the Government of India, the forest area of Madhya Pradesh has increased. More and more saplings are being planted in the state as part of a campaign. Every person should be a part of this campaign.
Sheesham is a multipurpose tree. Its wood, leaves, roots are all useful. Wood is used to make furniture. Leaves are protein fodder for animals. Roots make the land more fertile.
