Bhopal 05 March 2021; Planting trees is a campaign to save the earth. This is a very pious work. I have set out to make this pious social campaign a success. You all must cooperate fully in this work. Chief Minister Chouhan said that I urge and appeal to all of you on my birthday today, to plant more and more saplings will be a true gift for me.

Chief Minister Chouhan, on the occasion of his birthday today, planted saplings at various places, accompanied by Cabinet members, public representatives, officers and media representatives. All participated in the tree plantation event enthusiastically. The birthday of Chief Minister Chouhan was observed as Vriksha Mahotsav.

Belpatra sapling planted in the morning

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan first planted Belpatra sapling at his residence in the morning today. On this occasion, MP V.D. Sharma, Minister Vijay Shah, Dr. Prabhuram Chaudhary along with Hitanand and Lokendra Parashar etc. were present.

CM plants sapling along with family

Chief Minister Chouhan planted saplings along with his family at his residence. The family including the Chief Minister, his wife Sadhana Singh, sons Karthikeya and Kunal planted coconut, shami and amla saplings.

CM plants saplings with media at Smart City Park

Chief Minister Chouhan planted saplings with media representatives at Smart City Park. He planted around 25 species of plants including banyan. On this occasion, Chief Minister Chouhan lauded and thanked the media and those present for their active participation in the social campaign of planting trees to save the Earth.

CM plants saplings in Assembly premises

Chief Minister Chouhan along with the Vidhan Sabha Speaker Girish Gautam and Cabinet members planted 6 plants of Kadamb in the Assembly premises.

Planted Khirni sapling in Mantralaya

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan planted the fruit-bearing Khirni sapling in Vallabh Bhavan Mantralaya. Urban Development and Housing Minister, Bhupendra Singh, Minister Kamal Patel, Minister Mohan Yadav, MLA Krishna Gaur, Minister of State Ram Khelavan Patel also planted saplings. Chief Secretary Iqbal Singh Bains planted Putranjiva and Additional Chief Secretary Vinod Kumar planted Gular sapling. On this occasion, Additional Chief Secretary K.K. Singh, Malay Shrivastava, Manoj Shrivastava, Mohammad Suleman, S.N. Mishra, Principal Secretary Nitesh Vyas, Deepti Gaur Mukherjee, Kalpana Shrivastava, Deepali Rastogi, Pallavi Jain Govil, Neeraj Mandloi, Ashok Shah, Sanjay Shukla, Satyendra Kumar Singh, President of Mantralaya Employees Union Sudhir Nayak were present along with the employees of Mantralaya.
