Chief Minister Chouhan begins the day by holding talks with women over tea
Bhopal 08 March 2021: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan began the day by holding talks over tea with women on International Women’s Day. Shashi, Prabha, Saroj, Shakun Bai, Lalitha Devi and Usha Bai talked with the CM over tea. While leaving from the Chief Minister's residence to go to Nehru Nagar, he had discussions with women security officers and employees and congratulated them on Women's Day. On International Women's Day, Chief Minister Chouhan, along with women security personnel and women officers, left by car and reached among women cleaning workers at the Nehru Nagar intersection. R.I. Sushri Irshad was the driver of the Chief Minister's vehicle.
Chief Minister Chouhan first greeted the women sanitation workers on International Women's Day and also had tea with them. During the conversation, the Chief Minister learnt about their problems. The Chief Minister said that women are doing all sorts of works from sweeping to space travel. Today is a special day for women. Chief Minister Chouhan also informed the women cleaning workers about the schemes being run for the welfare of women. Describing the work of women sanitation workers as important, he said that you keep the city clean. Chief Minister Chouhan joined hands with them in cleanliness work by sweeping with them. The Chief Minister spoke on the aspects of women empowerment and encouraged the women.

During the discussions over tea with Chief Minister Chouhan, the women cleaning workers said that it is a matter of great pleasure that you have come among us on Women's Day. They said they were thankful that women were being promoted in the state. You have increased the respect of women by giving them the opportunity to become corporators and panchs-sarpanches, they said.
Female staff in all places for works including vehicle driver, security, administration and publicity
On the International Women's Day, only women police officers and inspectors were given the responsibility of security of the Chief Minister. Among the women officers and sub-inspectors who took charge today were D.S.P. Bittu Sharma, Sub-Inspector Bhavana Sharma, T.I. Yogita Satankar, Renu Murab, Sub-Inspectors Nisha Ahirwar, Kanchan Rajput, Richa Tripathi, Megha Gohia, Monika, Rupa Mishra, Archana Tiwari, Shaili Thomas, Sonam Sharma and Gayatri Singh. CM's vehicle was driven by R.I. Sushri Irshad. Savitri, Baby Chaurasia, Geeta Dangi and Nagina Malaviya performed duty at the residence apart from women constables Sushri Sapna and Seema Chandawar. Other women police inspectors including Akanksha Sharma, PSO Archana Tiwari were on duty throughout the day with the Chief Minister. Varsha Singh, Arshiya Siddiqui, Kalpana Gurjar and Yogita Jain SI were also on duty. In the Arms Guard, women constables Meera Singh and Sonal Parashar were given the responsibility. On duty OSD also a female officer
ADM Smt. Maya Awasthi was present during the Chief Minister's visit to the city. Deputy Secretary Vandana Mehra did the duty of OSD at the Chief Minister's residence office today.
