Bhopal 19 March 2021: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that cases of Corona are increasing in the state. In order to avoid a grave situation again, I request the people of the state to put on masks mandatorily, maintain social distancing, avoid crowds and contribute to Corona prevention.

Chief Minister Chouhan has said that those who are not wearing masks are endangering not only their own but also putting the lives of everyone in the society at risk. The government is making all necessary arrangements, but full cooperation of everyone is very important to prevent spread of infection.

In view of the increasing cases of Corona, Indore, Bhopal and Jabalpur cities of the state will observe lockdown from 10 pm on Saturday to 6 am on Monday. Necessary services and industries will remain operational during lockdown.

Chief Minister Chouhan was reviewing the situation and arrangements of Corona in Mantralaya today. Chief Secretary Iqbal Singh Bains, Director General of Police Vivek Johri, Additional Chief Secretary Health Mohammad Suleman, Additional Chief Secretary Home Rajesh Rajaura and Principal Secretary Public Relations Shiv Shekhar Shukla were present in the meeting.

Permission will have to be sought for social events

Chief Minister Chouhan said that permission will have to be obtained from the administration for organizing social functions during the lockdown on Sunday in Indore, Bhopal and Jabalpur.

Schools, colleges to remain closed till March 31

Schools and colleges will remain closed till March 31 in Bhopal, Indore and Jabalpur cities of the state.
State’s positivity rate is 5.5 percent
Additional Chief Secretary Health Mohammad Suleman told that 21 thousand Corona tests were conducted in the state recently. The state’s positivity rate is 5.5 percent, which is high.

Farmers should not worry, all will get compensation

Chief Minister Chouhan said that farmers from the parts of the state in which hailstorm and rains have damaged crops, should not worry. Instructions have been given for survey. The survey will start soon and farmers will be given adequate compensation for the loss of crops – Window to News
