CM Chouhan plants saplings with MP Scindia

Bhopal 20 March 2021: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan along with MP Jyotiraditya Scindia today planted saplings in the Smart Garden of Bhopal. Chief Minister Chouhan and MP Scindia planted saplings of Parijat in the memory of eminent writer Karpoor Chandra Kulish, founder of Patrika Group of newspapers, social worker and eminent writer. Many public representatives were present on this occasion.
Chief Minister Chouhan said that today the Parijat sapling is planted in the memory of late Kulish ji. Late Kulish was a noted litterateur and is known for his unique work in the social service sector. He started publication of the Patrika newspaper on March 7, 1956. MP Jyotiraditya Scindia also planted saplings on the occasion. Chief Minister Chouhan said that Chandni and jasmine saplings planted today are a symbol of development and self-reliant Madhya Pradesh. Madhya Pradesh will move at a rapid pace on the path of progress. MP Scindia said that plantation is not just to plant saplings but it is also pledge for all-round development.
According to medical experts, the plant of Parijat is an excellent medicine. It is used in curing many diseases. Parijat is mainly useful in the treatment of diseases including digestive system, intestinal worms, fever and liver disorders.
