CM Chouhan to give away many gifts in Earth programme

CM will dedicated and lay foundation stones of development works
Bhopal 02 April 2021: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan will dedicate and lay foundation of cowsheds, beneficiary-oriented animal shelters, pasture development works and power sub-stations under the ‘Mission Earth’ programme on April 3. He will also inaugurate state-of-the-art Sex Sorted Semen Laboratory. Animal Husbandry and Dairy Minister Prem Singh Patel, Farmer Welfare and Agriculture Development Minister Kamal Patel, Panchayat and Rural Development Minister Mahendra Singh Sisodia and Energy Minister Pradyumna Singh will be present in this state-level programme to be held at Minto Hall at 2 pm.
Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan will dedicate 33 power sub-stations and will perform bhoom-pujan of 4 sub-stations under the Mission Earth Programme. The total cost of these 37 sub-stations is Rs 1530 crore. The dedication and bhoomi-pujan programme will be virtual. Of the 33 power sub-stations to be released, 17 are of very high pressure. These power sub-stations will ensure quality and uninterrupted power supply to about 19 lakh consumers in 28 districts.
Chief Minister Chouhan will dedicate 985 community cowsheds in various gram panchayats of the state built at a cost of Rs 260 crore and will lay the foundation of 145 community cowsheds to be built at a cost of Rs 50 crore. Also, he will dedicate 1821 beneficiary-based animal shelters built at a cost of Rs 13 crore 50 lakh, and lay the foundation of 2632 animal shelters to be built at a cost of about Rs 22 crore, he will dedicate and lay the foundation of 8310 works of various types of beneficiary-oriented animal shelters, community cowsheds and pastures development worth Rs. 384 crores.
Under the National Gokul Mission, Chief Minister Chouhan will inaugurate the state-of-the-art Sex Sorted Semen Production Laboratory, Bhadbhada Bhopal, set up at a cost of Rs 47 crore 50 lakh. It is the second largest Sex-sorted Semen Production Laboratory in the country. The first laboratory has been set up in Rishikesh, Uttarakhand.
A conference of farmer producer organizations and beneficiaries of Agricultural Infrastructure Fund will also be held under the Mission Earth programme. Chief Minister Chouhan will also inaugurate and address the conference – Window to News
