Teams leave for districts from capital for Corona prevention

CM Chouhan appeals general public to get vaccinated 
 
Bhopal 02 April 2020: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, while interacting with media representatives on the occasion of tree plantation in the Smart Garden this morning, said that teams have proceeded from the capital to the four districts of the state where there the infection is more severe. These places include Khargone, Betul, Chhindwara and Ratlam. Senior officials in these districts will look into arrangements for the control of Corona infection. Chief Minister Chouhan said that lockdown has been imposed for three days for effective control of infection, in the border district of Chhindwara in Maharashtra due to high number of patients. Apart from this, the Sunday lockdown in the state will remain unchanged in all other cities as before.

Celebrate festivals at family level

Chief Minister Chouhan said that just like citizens adhered to the slogan of ‘Meri Holi Mere Ghar’, in the same way, the festival of Rang-Panchami and other upcoming festivals should be celebrated with simplicity at the family level. Chief Minister Chouhan said that no festival procession or ger will be organized anywhere in the state. Festivals are not being celebrated collectively, control is must to prevent Corona infection. The number of beds in hospitals has also been increased where there are a large number of infected patients. The state government will leave no stone unturned in this task. We will control the infection with collective efforts.

Vaccination campaign

Chief Minister Chouhan said that the vaccination campaign has been intensified in the state from April 1. Efforts have been made by almost all districts to achieve the target. The public has been urged to ensure that people above 45 should get vaccinated on priority, this vaccine develops the ability to fight infection.

Guidelines must be followed

Chief Minister Chouhan appealed to the people to use masks mandatorily along with other precautions like social distancing, use of sanitizers, which is the most effective means to prevent infection.
