Public awareness campaigns should continue to prevent corona infection

Chief Minister Chouhan assignes responsibility of districts to ministers 
 
 
Bhopal April 2021: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that public awareness activities should be conducted continuously to curb corona infection. Ministers have been entrusted with the responsibility of districts for the coordination and management of all systems in view of the corona infection in the districts. Ministers should visit the districts of their respective charge as well as check virtually for corona infection, ensure treatment, care of patients. Necessary coordination for the Tika (vaccination) Utsav, motivating eligible people and public awareness campaigns should be carried out continuously, it will be the responsibility of the ministers. Chief Minister Chouhan was reviewing the current status of corona infection and necessary arrangements at the residence office today.

Chief Minister Chouhan said that the supply of medicines and oxygen to all the needy has been given top priority in the districts so that the infected patients regain health. The ministers also have to ensure the smooth functioning of the CCC (Covid Care Centre) started in the districts. Medical Education Minister Vishwas Sarang, Chief Secretary Iqbal Singh Bains, Director General of Police Vivek Johri, Additional Chief Secretary Health Mohammad Suleman, Additional Chief Secretary Home Rajesh Rajora, Principal Secretary to Chief Minister Manish Rastogi and other officials were present in the meeting.

Charges of districts handed over to ministers

Chief Minister Chouhan has entrusted the responsibility of Bhopal and Sehore to Vishwas Sarang. Minister Tulsi Ram Silawat has been given the responsibility of Indore, Arvind Singh Bhadoria has been assigned responsibility of Chhindwara and Jabalpur, Dr. Mohan Yadav of Ujjain, Pradyuman Singh Tomar has been handed over responsibility of Gwalior. Minister Gopal Bhargava gets responsibility of Sagar and Narsinghpur, Kunwar Vijay Shah of Khandwa and Burhanpur and Bisahulal Singh will be the in-charge of Anuppur, Shahdol and Sidhi. Yashodhara Raje Scindia will be the in-charge of Shivpuri and Datia.

Minister Bhupendra Singh will be of Damoh, Sushri Meena singh of Umaria, Mandla Dindori, Kamal Patel of Harda, Betul and Hoshangabad, Mahendra Singh Sisodia of Guna and Rajgarh, Brijendra Pratap Singh of Panna, Katni and Chhatarpur, Sushri Usha Thakur of Dewas, Bharat Singh Kushwah of Morena and Sheopur, Ram Kishore Kaware of Balaghat and Seoni and OPS Bhadoria will be the in-charge of Bhind. Minister Dr. Prabhuram Chaudhary of Raisen and Vidisha, Premsingh Patel of Barwani, Omprakash Sakhlecha of Neemuch, Hardeep Singh Dang of Khargone and Jhabua, Rajvardhan Singh Dattigaon of Dhar and Alirajpur, Inder Singh Parmar of Shajapur and Agar Malwa, Ramkhelawan Patel of Rewa, Satna and Singrauli, Brajendra Singh Yadav of Ashoknagar and Suresh Dhakad has been made in-charge of Niwari and Tikamgarh.

Revenue Minister Govind Singh Rajput is unwell and Home Minister Dr. Narottam Mishra is out of the state, so they have not been given charge yet.

Crisis Management Group and administration will jointly take decision on Corona curfew

Chief Minister Chouhan said that the members of the District Level Crisis Management Group have been authorised to take a decision with the local administration regarding the Corona curfew. The format of this corona curfew will be determined at the local level itself, in which it will be decided for which essential works and activities and for what duration the necessary relaxation should be given. The Corona curfew should be enforced with spontaneous feelings of the public.

Social organisations coming forward

Chief Minister Chouhan informed that Seva Bharati and other social organisations are coming forward for various service works. Some organisations are also willing to operate isolation centres. It is being considered to seek cooperation in this work by making doctors available to such service organisations.

Maltreatment of Corona Warriors inappropriate

Chief Minister Chouhan said that there have been reports of mistreatment with Corona Warriors from some places. Misbehaving with Corona Warriors engaged in service to humanity is inappropriate. Strict steps are being taken in such cases. Opposition parties are also expected to cooperate in times of crisis. It is necessary to maintain the morale of the Corona Warriors.

Speed up vaccination work

Chief Minister Chouhan said that vaccination work has been given momentum in the state. The four-day special campaign commenced on 11 April - Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Jayanti, which will continue till 14 April - Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Jayanti. It has been named Tika (vaccination) Utsav. So far, about 60 lakh people have been vaccinated in the state. About 25 lakh people above 60 years of age and about 20 lakh people between the ages of 45 to 59 years have been vaccinated.
