Bhopal 24 May 2021: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that due to the cooperation and hard work of all, the corona infection is now coming under control to some extant. We have to make maximum efforts to maintain this control over the infection. Corona infection is not going to end soon. The rate of infection is steadily decreasing, but we have to start life with this by adopting Covid Appropriate Behaviour. Constantly work on this strategy and raise public awareness. The Chief Minister was reviewing Covid-19 control situation of the division at Sagar on Monday.

Chief Minister Chouhan directed that a detailed action plan should be prepared for Sagar division, working on which the corona infection can be controlled by May 31 and slowly the process of unlocking should be started from June 1.

Sagar's 312 Corona Free Gram Panchayats appreciated

As many as 312 gram panchayats of Sagar are corona free and no positive case of corona has been reported here for more than 15 days. Chief Minister Chouhan appreciated these gram panchayats. He said that other gram panchayats and wards should also be made corona free.

Special campaign for vaccination will be started from June 1

Chief Minister Chouhan said that a massive campaign of vaccination should be started in all the divisions of the state including Sagar division from June 1, 2021. More and more people should be vaccinated in the campaign. Vaccination has an effective role in the control of infection, he said
All public representatives should call upon the public to strictly follow the corona curfew through the media of information, newspapers, audio bridge, WhatsApp messages to the panchayat level. To eliminate Covid-19, impose a corona curfew for one week with strictness.

The Chief Minister said that the arrangements for Sagar Medical College should be strengthened further. The Chief Minister asked to prepare a strategy for medical college with a view to provide better health facilities to the public in Bundelkhand. Bundelkhand Medical College should be updated on the lines of other best hospitals. The Chief Minister instructed to prepare a ward in the college with a capacity of 50 beds separately. He said that the college affiliated hospital should be prepared in such a way that patients may first think of coming to BMC and later about a private hospital.

Chief Minister Chouhan said that better treatment should be provided to the patients. For this, there will be no shortage of medicines and essential commodities. Constant supply of medicines, injections and oxygen etc. is being ensured.

Be fully prepared for the third wave of Corona

Chief Minister Chouhan instructed to ensure all types of arrangements in advance at Bundelkhand Medical College, District Hospital and temporary hospital of Bina while staying fully prepared for the possible third wave of Corona.
Eradicate corona by a week's strictness
Chief Minister Chouhan said that for curbing the corona, public curfew should be strictly followed for one week. He said that the crisis management groups at all levels including districts, development blocks, wards, villages, etc. should be strengthened. Crisis management group meeting should be organised. Also increase the vaccination and sampling percentage. He said that along with the treatment of corona infection, training in yoga and pranayama should be provided regularly. Yoga makes a person healthy and self-dependent.

Good work in Panna district

Chief Minister Chouhan said that good work is being done in Panna district of Sagar division. This was possible only with the alertness of everyone. However, there is a need for more strictness so that the infection will no longer spread under any circumstances. Reviewing Chhatarpur district, he said that there is a need to increase vaccination and testing here. Good work has been done to prevent infection in Niwari. He said that control in rural areas is better here; adopt it in urban areas also.
Chief Minister Chouhan said that 12 thousand tablets are coming for the treatment of black fungus. The state government is making all efforts to cure this disease. No patient will suffer any problems.
