CM Chouhan to disburse pension amount of Rs 5000 to 199 dependent child beneficiaries on Sunday

Bhopal 29 May 2021: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan will distribute pension amount to children eligible under Mukhya Mantri Covid-19 Bal Kalyan Yojana on May 30, 2021 in a virtual ceremony. Pension amount distribution programme will be held at 4 pm at the Chief Minister’s residence. Out of the applications received till May 29, 2021, 109 cases have been approved under the scheme. As many as 199 children are being benefited out of these.

Several children have lost their parents to Corona in the state. Mukhya Mantri Covid-19 Bal Kalyan Yojana has been implemented in the state from May 21, 2021 to provide assistance to such children with immediate effect. The main objective of the scheme is to provide financial and food security to the children of many families from Covid-19, so that they can complete their education smoothly, while leading a dignified life. Death from Covid-19 means any death that occurred in the period between March 1, 2021 and June 30, 2021.
