Natyashree students performance leaves audience spellbound @ Nrityamanjari 2017

Shreelayam Natyashree Kalasamti organised 15th Nrityamanjari 2017 here today at Shaheed Bhawan, Bhopal. In the extravagant and colourful cultural programme, Bharatnatyam, Mohinyattam and Kuchipudi were the main attraction.The programme begins with worshipping Goddess Durga. This dance signifies the ancient dance form of Kerala which is directed by Kavita Shaji in a devotional form followed by Ganesh Vandana, Shiva Stuti, Varnam and Tillana. Chief Guest was Hon’ble Member of Parliament Alok Sanjar, Bhopal and the special guest was Lata Munshi, a prominent classical dancer.
Alok Sanjar said, "Indian classical dance needs dedication, hard work, concentration and devotion, which makes an impact on the overall personality of the students."
“The use of hands, eyes, reflexes and coordination of various parts of the body with perfection is needed for getting expertise in classical dance, which Natyashree students showed with dexterity,” said Lata Munshi, prominent classical dancer.

Shaji M., Director of Shreelayam Natyashree Kala Samiti said" In the last 15 years Shreelayam Natyashree Kalasamti has taken great pains to popularise the ancient classical dance forms in the north region of the country catering to the wishes of all the parents associated with Natyashree group we have immensely tried our best to promote these classical dance forms at national and international level.
Natyashree kids have ignited the dance forms to shine globally under the guidance of Guru Natyshree Shaji and Kala Mandalam Mrs Kavita Shaji. Shreelayam Natyashree Kalasamti is aimed to provide a platform for the children – the budding artists to showcase their talent in the traditional dance forms and shall always be committed to it. This entire program has been organised and directed by Natyashree Shaji, Kalamandalam Kavita Shaji and Shyamal Kadwe.
