Demand for early release of D.A.P and urea to the state
Bhopal 16 June 2021: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, during his stay in New Delhi today met the Union Minister for Chemicals and Fertilizers, D.V. Sadananda Gowda and apprised him with the problem of D.A.P. in the state. Chief Minister Chouhan informed that the demand of D.A.P. has increased tremendously with sowing having started in the state and the law and order situation in the state is likely to be affected due to less availability of water. Chief Minister Chouhan urged that revised allocation of 3.46 lakh metric tonnes of DAP and 3.84 lakh metric tonnes of urea should be released soon. Also, DAP must be supplied to the state mandatorily till June 25, so that fertilizers can be made available to the farmers on time.
Bulk drug park and medical devices park should be granted permission soon
Chief Minister Chouhan told the Union Minister that the state’s proposal to establish a Bulk Drug Park costing Rs.1276 crore and Medical Devices Park at a cost of Rs.193 crore for the purpose of achieving self-reliance in the bulk drug sector, is pending with the Centre. The infrastructure of these park has been developed. Electricity, water and land have been arranged for the proposed industries. Chief Minister Chouhan urged that permission should be granted for this at the earliest, so that construction work can be started.
Union Minister Sadanand Gowda assured the Chief Minister that there will be no shortage of urea and DAP. Necessary action in this regard will be taken by Mantralaya – Window to News
