Bhopal 21 June 2021: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that it is our resolve to protect every citizen of the state from corona infection through vaccination and we will complete it soon. Madhya Pradesh has done the work of administering maximum 15 lakh vaccines in the country on the first day under the vaccination campaign being run across the country under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. This is a victory for the public participation model of Madhya Pradesh, through which the second wave of corona in Madhya Pradesh was effectively controlled.
Chief Minister Chouhan said that public representatives, social workers, religious leaders, journalists, artists, litterateurs, advocates, sportspersons and people of all classes, who have contributed directly or indirectly in the vaccination campaign for this wonderful and holy work, deserve congratulations. I express my heartfelt gratitude to all and hope that you will continue to actively cooperate in this holy task of saving lives with the same enthusiasm.
Chief Minister Chouhan said that a target was set to vaccinate 10 lakh people on the first day of the vaccination campaign in Madhya Pradesh. Keeping in view the capabilities of Madhya Pradesh, 5 lakh additional doses were sent to the state by the Central Government. For this 'I thank Prime Minister Narendra Modi'.
Chief Minister Chouhan was reviewing the campaign with all the Chief Medical and Health Officers and District Immunization Officers of the state through video conferencing at the National Health Mission office this evening. Health Minister Prabhuram Chaudhary, Additional Chief Secretary Health Mohammad Suleman, Health Commissioner Akash Tripathi, Public Relations Commissioner Sudam Khade etc. were present on this occasion.
This campaign will run continuously
Chief Minister Chouhan said that vaccination campaign is a campaign to save lives. There can be no other act holier than this. This campaign will be carried out with full vigour and energy till all the persons are vaccinated. Along with this, special campaigns will also be run from time to time. A special campaign of vaccination will be conducted on July 1, 2 and 3. We will soon achieve the goal of complete immunization.
No more confusion about vaccination
Chief Minister Chouhan said that from the way people have got vaccination done in every part of the state with full enthusiasm today, it is clear that now there is no confusion in the mind of the people regarding vaccination. Chief Minister Chouhan said that 'I personally went to the Scheduled Caste majority village Parasari in Datia district and the Scheduled Tribe dominated village Sirali in Sehore district today. People got vaccinated at both these places with full enthusiasm
All students must become volunteers
Chief Minister Chouhan said that in order to achieve the goal of complete vaccination at the earliest, all the students should become volunteers and with full enthusiasm, motivate people for vaccination and also help them in this work.
Will minimize effect of corona
Chief Minister Chouhan said that vaccination and covid friendly behaviour are two such weapons, through which we will neutralize the effect of third wave in Madhya Pradesh. It will be our endeavour that at first no one gets infected, if he gets infected then he does not have to go to the hospital, he should get healthy at home and if he has to go to the hospital then he gets well soon.
