Chief Minister Chouhan virtually dedicates Covid Care Centre of Mandideep
60 bedded centre built by Lupin Foundation
Bhopal 26 June 2021: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that necessary preparations are being made in the state to face the third wave of Corona. The general public is being motivated to follow Covid friendly behaviour. Adequate supply of oxygen beds, children's ICU wards, equipment and essential materials is being made in all health institutions. Public cooperation and private sector participation are also being obtained. This Covid Care Centre built by Lupin Foundation in Mandideep is a testimony to the initiative of the private sector.
Chief Minister Chouhan was addressing the virtual inauguration programme of Covid Care Centre set up by Lupin Foundation at Mandideep in Raisen district from his residence. Public Health and Family Welfare Minister Dr. Prabhuram Choudhary also addressed the programme. Bhojpur MLA Surendra Patwa, Silwani MLA Rampal Singh and Lupin Foundation Executive Director Sitaram Gupta also expressed their views.
Vaccination and treatment of other diseases should also be done at the centre
Chief Minister Chouhan said that in view of the emergency situation of Corona, Lupin Foundation has set up this Covid Care Centre. It is a symbol of their social responsibility and sensitivity. Chief Minister Chouhan appealed that we should follow the precautions to prevent corona so earnestly that this centre is not used as a Covid care center. This centre may be used in vaccination and the treatment of other common diseases.
Hospital to be established soon
Chief Minister Chouhan said that Mandideep is a big industrial centre of the state. A hospital will soon be set up here for the convenience of the working class. Chief Minister Chouhan said that the land related problem of Rahul Nagar of Mandideep region would also be resolved.
Public Health and Family Welfare Minister Dr. Prabhuram Choudhary said that the construction of such Covid Care Centres develops a sense of security among the people at the local level.
Separate ward for the children in 60 bedded centre
A 60-bedded Covid Care Centre has been set up by Lupin Foundation under the CSR programme in the municipal building located at Shopping Complex, Mandideep. It has 25 oxygenated beds, a ventilator has also been provided. A separate 10-bedded ward has also been prepared for children. In this centre all the necessary machines have been provided by Lupin Foundation. This centre will be run by Block Medical Officer Obaidullaganj.
