Atal Bihari Vajpayee Institute of Good Governance signs MoU with 6 excellence institutes

Bhopal 09 July 2021: Atal Bihari Vajpayee Institute of Good Governance and Policy Analysis (AIGGPA) on Friday signed 6 MoUs with various universities, AIIMS, NIREH (ICMR) and IISER. The main goal of the MoU is advancement of knowledge and better policy making through mutual cooperation in public policy, governance, administration and other related areas. Good governance institutions and MoU institutions will be benefited by this.

In the presence of Vice-President of the Institute of Good Governance Prof. Sachin Chaturvedi, CEO of the Institute, Smt. G.V. Rashmi signed MoUs with Barkatullah University Bhopal, Makhanlal Chaturvedi National University of Journalism and Communication, Rajiv Gandhi Technological University, AIIMS Bhopal, NIREH (ICMR) Bhopal and IISER Bhopal.

On this occasion, Vice-President of the institute, Chaturvedi said that better development plans have to be made under the direction of Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan for the state. The cooperation of all the organizations will prove useful in this. He said that the institutions with which the MoU has been signed today will benefit them as well as the institutions of good governance. The Additional CEO of the institute Lokesh Sharma will remain in constant touch with the institutions in connection with the MoU.

Sunil Kumar, Vice Chancellor, RGVP said that this is a new beginning. Vice Chancellor of Makhanlal Chaturvedi University of Journalism, K.G. Rao said that it is being hoped that the work will be done with utmost seriousness in this MoU. Director, AIIMS Dr. Sharman Singh said that the MoU will be very beneficial for our institute. Director, NIREH Dr. Rajnarayan Tiwari, said that this will provide new opportunities for our institute. IISER Prof. Ashish Srivastava said that this will strengthen both the institutions.

Lectures, seminars, workshops, panel discussions, webinars and training programmes on public policy, governance and administration will be organized in collaboration with institutions through the MoU. Along with this, their mutual expertise in teaching, research and other areas will also be beneficial. Better utilization of human resources will be ensured. CEO Smt.
