Take public opinion on provisions of Plantation Promotion Bill: Chief Minister Chouhan

Bhopal 14 July 2021: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan regarding the provisions of the proposed Plantation Promotion Bill-2021 has asked to take suggestions and views of environmentalists, forest experts, scholars of tribal life, experts of Revenue Department general public and farmers.

In the context of these suggestions, the provisions of the Plantation Promotion Bill-2001 should be considered. This will help in making the Bill more practical and effective. Awareness among the general public regarding the provisions of the Bill will also increase. Chief Minister Chouhan was addressing a meeting organized in connection with the Bill at his residence.
