13 thousand 659 people received Covid vaccine
Bhopal 24 July 2021: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that the people of the state have played a vigilant role in the vaccination campaign launched to make Madhya Pradesh a Covid-free state. In many gram panchayats and urban bodies of the state, an example has been set by completing cent percent vaccination. In the same sequence, Khajuraho has also come under the category of cent percent vaccination due to the awareness shown by the people in the world famous tourist city of Khajuraho. Chief Minister Chouhan has congratulated the residents of Khajuraho, while appreciating the district administration, vaccination teams, social workers and Corona volunteers.
Chief Minister Chouhan said that all sections have participated enthusiastically in the speed at which the vaccination campaign is being run to prevent corona infection in the state. Till date, about 2 crore 77 lakh people have got vaccinated in the state. The campaign will continue. Chief Minister Chouhan said that it is our endeavor that cent percent vaccination of all citizens of the state who are of 18 years of age or above should be done.
Chief Minister Chouhan said that the success achieved through the public participation model of Madhya Pradesh in the vaccination campaign has also been appreciated at the national level. He has appealed to the people of the state that it is still necessary to remain fully vigilant towards Corona. Everyone should continue to adopt corona appropriate behaviour and also follow the guidelines of corona control.
Honour ceremony of tourism city Khajuraho Corona Volunteers
In the tourist city of Khajuraho, after cent percent vaccination was done, a ceremony was organised by the district administration to honor the Corona volunteers. Regional MP V.D. Sharma said that the achievement in the field of vaccination in Khajuraho due to the combined efforts of all is a matter of pride. He said that the participation of Corona Volunteers in the form of angels in the time of crisis is praiseworthy. This function organised by the district administration to pay respect to the Corona Volunteers will boost their morale and they will work with double energy in future.
In the function, Collector Sheelendra Singh informed that 13 thousand 659 people of the age group of 18 years and above have been vaccinated in Khajuraho.
