Development Authorities should complete projects within the time limit - Urban Development Minister Singh

Bhopal 26 July 2021: Urban Development and Housing Minister Bhupendra Singh has said that all development authorities and special area development authorities should complete the approved projects within the time-limit. There should be no unnecessary delay in any project. Minister Singh reviewed the works of various development authorities on Monday.
Singh said that the process of lease renewal should be expedited. Adopt such a process that the building owners do not face any kind of difficulty.
Suggest amendments to the Act
Urban Development and Housing Minister Singh said that in a week's time, give suggestions regarding amendment in the Town and Country Planning Act currently in force. He said that action should be taken to denotify the project as per rules. Singh reviewed the Bhopal, Indore, Gwalior, Jabalpur, Ujjain and Dewas authorities separately.
In the meeting, CEO Bhopal Development Authority Budhesh Vaidya informed that about 90 percent work of Misrod Phase-1 and Phase-2, Aerocity Phase-1 and about 80 percent work of Rajabhoj Housing Scheme has been completed. The work of Rakshavihar Phase-3 and Aerocity Phase-2 will be completed by the year 2022.
