Bhopal 03 Auguat2021: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that the Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana programme to be organised in the state on August 7 is an ambitious programme of the state government. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the programme. Ministers and officers of other states are coming to Madhya Pradesh to participate in the programme. Just as the corona management and vaccination campaign of the state by the Crisis Management Committees has been a topic of discussion in the whole country, similarly the Annotsav being organised under the Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana has also become a topic of discussion in the whole country. Efforts are being made that Annotsav should become an example in the country.
Chief Minister Chouhan was addressing the ministers before the meeting of the Cabinet. The meeting of the Council of Ministers began with the recitation of Vande-Martam. Chief Minister Chouhan informed the ministers about the latest status regarding excessive rainfall, flood and corona infection in the state.
Celebrate Annotsav by following precautions of Covid-19
Chief Minister Chouhan said that Annotsav would be organised on August 7 at all 25 thousand 435 fair price shops in the state. Ration material will be distributed in bags to 100 beneficiaries at each shop. This event should be ensured by following the precautions of Covid-19. A nodal officer should be appointed for each shop.
Minister in charge should coordinate in districts
The Chief Minister Chouhan informed that the Annotsav programme on August 7 will commence at 10 A.M. and the Prime Minister Narendra Modi will virtually join the programe at 11 A.M.. The general public will also be connected to the programme through electronic and social media along with the beneficiaries present at all the fair price shops. The ministers in charge should ensure necessary coordination for the preparations of the programme in their districts.
Vigilance is necessary from corona infection
Chief Minister Chouhan said that there is a need for constant vigilance in the state regarding corona infection. Cases are increasing in Sagar division, it is a matter of concern. It was informed in the presentation that there are 139 active cases in the state. Corona cases are present in 9 districts of the state namely Sagar, Bhopal, Damoh, Indore, Rajgarh, Balaghat, Chhatarpur, Jabalpur and Satna. There is no case in the remaining 43 districts. 70 to 75 thousand tests are being done daily in the state. The vaccination campaign is continuing.
