Bhopal 06 August 2021: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that the Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana programme to be organized in the state on August 7 is an ambitious programme of the state government. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the programme through V.C.. He will also interact with the beneficiaries. Ministers and officers of other states are coming to Madhya Pradesh to participate in the programme. Just as the Corona management and vaccination campaign of the state by the Crisis Management Committees was a topic of discussion in the whole country similarly, the Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana programme has also become a topic of discussion in the whole country.
Chief Minister Chouhan has said that except seven flood-affected districts of Gwalior, Morena, Bhind, Shivpuri, Sheopur, Datia and Guna, this programme will be organized in the form of a festival in the rest of the state.
Adherence to Covid-19 precautions must for Annotsav celebrations
Chief Minister Chouhan said that on August 7, a programme would be organized at all 25 thousand 435 fair price shops in the state. Free ration material will be distributed in bags to 100 beneficiaries on the first day at each shop. Later free ration will be distributed to the remaining beneficiaries. This event should be organized with strict adherence to Covid-19 precautions. A nodal officer should be appointed for each shop.
Minister in charge should ensure required coordination in districts
Chief Minister Chouhan informed that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will virtually join this programme starting at 10 am on August 7. The general public will also be connected to the programme through electronic and social media along with the beneficiaries present at all the fair price shops. The ministers in charge should ensure necessary coordination for the preparations of the programme in his respective district.
Nodal Officer at each shop
A nodal officer has been appointed for each fair price shop by the District Collector under Pradhan Mantri Gareeb Kalyan Anna Yojana Karyakram, who will organize the programme and oversee preparations. The nodal officers will report to the control room set up in the district about all the preparations at the shops allotted to them. There will also be a social team for each shop, which will include members of the Vigilance Committee, Crisis Management Committee, Gram Panchayat Secretary and local distinguished persons – Window to News
