Necessary infrastructural works related to Chhindwara Medical College will be completed

Bhopal 31 August 2021: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that necessary steps will be taken with respect to the Super Specialty Hospital to be built with Chhindwara Medical College. Necessary infrastructural works related to medical college will be completed.

In this regard, a delegation led by Medical Education Minister Vishwas Sarang, met Chief Minister Chouhan today and informed him that at present teaching work is being done in the medical college, but practical classes are being held in the district hospital as the college does not have its own hospital. Chief Minister Chouhan said that this anomaly will be removed.

The delegation informed that after the approval of opening of medical college in Chhindwara and the construction of the college, the teaching work has started from the year 2019, but the teaching work is getting hampered as the college does not have its own hospital. The delegation requested to get this work done with the approval of the budget through a new action plan. The members of the delegation expected cooperation from Chief Minister Chouhan in the beautification of Chhindwara city and development of railway facilities.
