Chief Minister attended the anniversary programme in Shahpur
Bhopal 08 September 2021: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that we will continue to make the state prosperous and developed by following the path shown by MP Late Nand Kumar Singh Chouhan. Nandu Bhaiya was a rare personality.
Today he may not be with us physically, but his thoughts and ideals are with us. Never thought that he would leave us so soon. Chief Minister Chouhan said that Late Nandu Bhaiya has written a new script for the expansion and development of basic facilities including irrigation, construction of roads, health, education, agriculture and medical colleges in the Nimar region.
Chief Minister Chouhan was addressing a memorial programme organised on the anniversary of MP Late Nand Kumar Singh Chouhan at Shahpur in Burhanpur district today. Chief Minister Chouhan said that we are sad that Nandu Bhaiya is not among us. He had promised to stay together, but left early leaving us alone. His dreams will be realised. Will develop, will give full love to the public according to his wish. Chief Minister Chouhan said that I take responsibility that the dreams of Late Nandu Bhaiya will be realised. As a result of the strong will power of a skilled mass leader like Nandu Bhaiya, development has taken place in the area. He made a significant contribution in making the Nimar region ideal.
Chief Minister Chouhan said that the farmers of Burhanpur are hardworking. From food processing to farming, there will be no shortage in making agriculture a profitable business. Efforts will continue to develop the means of employment in the district, to pursue industry development and to do better work even in this period of crisis.
MP VD Sharma, who participated virtually in the programme, said that he can't believe that Nandu Bhaiya is not among us. He was a man devoted to development. He was a symbol of ease and simplicity and was associated with the masses. Got to learn a lot from him in life. Together we will complete his unfinished tasks. Khandwa MLA Devendra Verma said that Nandu Bhaiya was not a person but an institution. He worked tirelessly throughout his life for development.
Chief Minister Chouhan reached the samadhi site of Late Nandu Bhaiya and paid his floral tributes and consoled the family members. The Chief Minister also planted a sapling in the memory of Late Nandu Bhaiya and visited the blood donation camp and exhibition organised in memory of Late Nandu Bhaiya.
Former minister Archana Chitnis, MLA Thakur Surendra Singh, Sumitra Kasdekar, Narayan Patel and other public representatives were present in the programme – Window to News
