Chief Minister Chouhan pays tribute to Acharya Vinoba Bhave

Bhopal 11 September 2021: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan paid tributes to Vinoba Bhave ji on his birth anniversary. Chouhan garlanded his portrait in the auditorium at his residence.
Acharya Vinoba Bhave was born on September 11, 1895. He was a freedom fighter and social worker. He is considered the national teacher of India. He spent the last years of his life in the ashram of Pawanar, Maharashtra. He started the Bhoodan movement. He was imprisoned in the Nagpur Jhanda Satyagraha. Vinoba Bhave was a very learned and considerate person. Vinoba Bhave also studied and contemplated on the modern principles of economics, politics and philosophy. He was the first person to have received the International Ramon Magsaysay Award for Community Leadership in 1958. He died on November 15, 1982.
