One year increase in special recruitment drive for vacancies of backlog and disabled

Bhopal 13 September 2021: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan chaired a meeting of the Council of Ministers at Mantralaya today. The Cabinet has decided to increase the time limit of special recruitment drive by one year from July 1, 2021 to June 30, 2022 to fill backlog / carry forward posts of Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Classes and vacancies of disabled people.

Financial Assistance Scheme to promote production of Ethanol and Biofuels

The Cabinet took the decision to launch a financial assistance scheme to promote the production of ethanol and bio-fuels. Financial assistance of Rs. 1.50 per liter will be provided to petroleum oil producing companies for 7 years from the date of commercial production on supply of ethanol produced by the unit, up to a maximum limit of 100 percent of the capital investment made in the plant and machinery related to production. Hundred percent stamp duty and registration fee on purchase of land for the units will be reimbursed. Hundred percent exemption will be given in electricity charges for 5 years from the date of commencement of commercial production. Quality Certification Reimbursement will be given at 50 percent of the quality certification cost or Rs.1 lakh whichever is less. Hundred percent patent fee will be reimbursed to the extent of Rs. 5 lakh. Fifty percent capital subsidy on equipment for zero liquid discharge facility subject to a maximum of Rs.1 crore will be given. Fifty percent of the expenditure on the project for water/electricity/road infrastructure development on private/undeveloped government land allotted to the industry, subject to a maximum of Rs.1 crore for each item, will be reimbursed. MPIDC, Bhopal will be the nodal agency for the implementation of this policy.

MP Higher Judicial Service (Recruitment and Conditions of Service) Rules amended

The Cabinet decided to add 14 (a) after rule-14 of the Madhya Pradesh Higher Judicial Service (Recruitment and Conditions of Service) Rules, 2017. Under this, a bond of Rs 5 lakh will be executed from the candidate at the time of regular appointment to the effect that it will be mandatory for him to provide services for a minimum period of 3 years after assuming charge, otherwise an amount equal to the 3 months salary and allowances, whichever is more will have to be paid if he does not resign for any reason. In case of breach of the above conditions, the entire amount of the bond may be withheld. If the applicant resigns for government service of the Central or Madhya Pradesh state with prior permission, then the bond amount will not be required to be paid.

Approval of more than Rs 33 crore for Center of Excellence

As per new SOR rates, the Cabinet has approved Rs 33.1 crore for the project for upgradation of Mental Hospital, Indore as ‘Center of Excellence’ and administrative approval was given for the creation of 13 new posts while dedicating 25 pre approved posts for the institution. At present 6 students are admitted per year under the Psychiatric Postgraduate Course by the Medical College. After the upgradation of Mental Hospital, Indore as ‘Center of Excellence’ and creation of new posts, 4 seats for MD in Psychiatry, 18 M. Phil seat for Clinical Psychology, 18 seats for M. Phil, in Psychiatric Social Work and 40 additional seats for Psychiatric Nursing Diploma Course can be started.

Consumer Fee (Toll) Collection

The Cabinet, has approved for collection of consumer free (toll) through an agency selected by the Madhya Pradesh Road Development Corporation on the Sagar-Damoh road till 29 April 2028, on Mhow-Ghatabillod road till 13 February 2035, on Bhind-Mihona-Gopalpura road till 30 April 2030 and on Bina-Khimlasa- Malthon route till 30 April 2035.

Promotion of cottage and Gramodyog products

The Cabinet has approved a new scheme for promotion of products of cottage and Gramodyog department, brand building and marketing infrastructure. In the project record (DPR) of the scheme, expenditure will be made under mainly three heads including brand promotion, e-commerce promotion and marketing infrastructure development. This new scheme will be applicable on all Gramodyog products, Mrignayani (Handloom / Handicraft Products), Kabira (Khadi Products), Vindhya Valley (Gramodyog Products) and Prakrit (Silk Products).

Merger of Government Maharaja Autonomous Postgraduate College

The Cabinet has approved the proposal of merger of Government Maharaja Autonomous Post Graduate Leading College, Chhatarpur with all resources into Maharaja Chhatrasal Bundelkhand University, Chhatarpur and restructuring of 236 posts (administrative 13, academic 140 and non-academic 83) approved earlier – Window to News
