Vaccination is the most effective means to prevent corona. Along with this, it is easier to prevent infection by using masks and maintaining distancing between individuals. On the birthday of Prime Minister Modi, Vaccination Mega Campaign-3.0 is being conducted in Madhya Pradesh on the coming September 17. Everyone should extend their cooperation to make the mega campaign a success.
Chief Minister Chouhan was addressing the members of Crisis Management Committees of various level and public representatives in the presence of the members of the Council of Ministers in Mantralaya on monday evening.
Chief Minister Chouhan said that Madhya Pradesh has made a record in vaccination. Still about 2 crore people are left in the state who are to get the vaccine doses. By motivating these people to come to the vaccination centres on September 17, they can be provided with a protective shield.
Chief Minister Chouhan, while addressing the members of Crisis Management Groups, MLAs, MPs and other public representatives of all the districts of the state today in the context of Covid Vaccination Mega Campaign-3.0, called upon them to extend active cooperation to make the Maha Abhiyan a success.
Key instructions and important points of Chief Minister Chouhan's address
- In the last 17 months, we have suffered in the face of two waves of corona, many close to us have left. The danger is not over yet. The positive cases reported in Jabalpur are a matter of concern. We don't have to be complacent. The third wave has to be stopped with your awareness.
- Many celebrations - festivals are also coming. On festivals, we should hold programmes in such a way that the infection does not spread. We should all compulsorily wear masks.
- If a person gets both doses of the vaccine, then the risk is reduced. By September 26, 100 percent of the people who are eligible for the vaccine have to be provided with the first dose of the vaccine and a protection cycle.
- We have fought Corona with public cooperation. Health and local administration alone cannot do this. Corona volunteers, public representatives and citizens should do their duty to bring the people left out of the vaccination to the vaccination centres on 17th September. Request people to get vaccinated, invite people to get vaccinated by giving yellow rice, contact door to door and tell people the importance of vaccination.
- A festive atmosphere should be created at the vaccination centres. Promote the vaccine in social media and also post selfies of getting vaccines. This will inspire others.
- Adequate vaccines are available in the state. The free vaccines should be fully utilized available with the cooperation of Prime Minister Modi. Also, if there is a possibility of infection, then no citizen should hold back in giving samples.
