Goods produced by women’s group will be sold within and outside the country: CM Chouhan

Bhopal 15 September 2021: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that the products made by women self-help groups would be sold in the country and abroad. The state government is lending support in the direction of women empowerment, by launching many schemes. The Chief Minister interacted with the didi's in the workshop and encouraged them. He was addressing a women empowerment workshop and bhoomi-pujan and dedication programme of development works at Jobat in Alirajpur district today.

Bhoomi-pujan and dedication of 135 works

Chief Minister Chouhan performed bhoomi-pujan and dedicated 135 works worth Rs.70 crore 30 lakh. This includes bhoomi-pujan of 83 development works worth Rs 29 crore 60 lakh and 52 development works worth Rs 40 crore 69 lakh. Chief Minister Chouhan said that arrangements would be made for training of NEET and JEE examinations in Jobat, so that local children get an opportunity to move ahead. In this regard, instructions were given to the district administration to ensure necessary arrangements.

CM interacts with participants in women empowerment workshop

Chief Minister Chouhan also interacted with the participants of self-help groups in the women empowerment workshop. He interacted with Ganbai Maurya, Mamtabai, Relam Baghel, Sharda Chouhan to know how they have written the story of development of themselves and their group through Livelihood Mission. Chief Minister Chouhan assured these successful women entrepreneurs that the product of Byra brand will be recognized at national and international level. The Chief Minister also released the Byra brand book and instructed to make Hindi copies of it, so that other women at the local level could also read it and write their own development story. He also appealed to other women’s groups present to develop themselves and the region by joining the Livelihood Mission.

Road-electricity-water system in every village

Chief Minister Chouhan said that his government believes in development works. Therefore, basic facilities have been arranged by laying a network of roads in every village. Now sufficient electricity is being supplied to villages also. Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana is providing pucca shelter to the poor. The eligible persons left out in this scheme will also be surveyed and included in the list of housing plus. He said that those who are deprived of the ration eligibility slip will also be given an eligibility slip so that they can get wheat, rice, salt at Rs. 1 kg from the ration shop as per their eligibility. Chief Minister Chouhan said that the district administration should ensure that the poor get ration from fair price shops with total transparency.

All should get vaccinated

Chief Minister Chouhan said that Corona is under complete control in the state. Still, it is important to be careful. For this, it is necessary for all people to get vaccinated. On September 17, the birthday of Prime Minister, a vaccination mega campaign will be run in the state. Those who have not got a single dose of vaccination so far, must reach the vaccination centers and get vaccinated on this day. The Chief Minister called upon all sections to encourage and send people to the vaccination centers during the Mega Campaign, so that 100 percent population of the state gets vaccinated.

Cleanliness and Dengue Jagrukta Rath flagged off

Chief Minister Chouhan flagged off the Dengue Jagrukta Rath under Dengue eradication campaign in Jobat. The programme started with Kanya Pujan. Chief Minister Chouhan also visited Byra brand exhibition after planting saplings.
District in-charge Minister Rajvardhan Singh Dattigaon, MP Guman Singh Damor, MLAs, public representatives, women of self-help groups and citizens took part in the programme.

Gifts by Chief Minister

Jobat hospital will be converted into a 100-bedded civil hospital.
A stadium costing Rs.5 crore would be constructed at Jobat which will have special arrangement for archery training.
Eight hostels will be opened in the assembly constituency Jobat at a cost of Rs.3 crore each.
Industrial park will be set up on 28 acres in Umri village.
PG College will be started from the next academic session in Jobat, in which other subjects will be also taught along with science.
An amount of Rs 2 crore will be given for the construction of drain in Jobat Nagar, 4 barrages will also be built.
CM Rise Schools will be built in the area, and good Mathematics, Science, English teachers will be appointed in it, so that the students of the area can get better education.
An amount of Rs. 2 lakh will be given to National Archer of Jobat Sushri Yana Rathore.
Jobs will be provided to the people in the private sector by organizing employment fairs.
Recruitment is being started on one lakh government posts, part from backlog posts which will also be filled.
Farmers will be benefited by constructing Kapil-Dhara well in the areas where water from Narmada river is not available  - Window to News
