Bhopal 24 September 2021: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that the Vaccination Maha Abhiyan, which will be held on September 27, has to be made a people’s campaign. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has provided a dose of life free of cost. We have to save the lives of all the people of the state. Therefore, all social organizations, political parties, voluntary organizations and we ourselves should fulfill the goal of getting the first dose of vaccination to 100 percent eligible persons on the occasion of this great campaign with our personal initiative. Chief Minister Chouhan was virtually addressing the Crisis Management Committees at district, block, panchayat and ward level from his residence in connection with the vaccination campaign. Medical Education Minister Vishwas Sarang and Khajuraho MP V.D. Sharma were present in the interaction. All ministers and MPs virtually joined the programme. A presentation was given on Covid-19 vaccination before Chief Minister Chouhan’s address.

Chief Minister Chouhan said that September 27 is a day of resolution for all of us. We have to make Madhya Pradesh safe by administering the first dose of Corona vaccine to all the eligible people of the state. Chief Minister Chouhan has said that all possible efforts have been made by the health department staff, government employees, members of Crisis Management Committee, public representatives for vaccination. The target of vaccination was achieved by crossing rivers and streams even during the rainy season. Chief Minister Chouhan expressed his gratitude to all such people. He said that Madhya Pradesh tops in the country in administering the first dose of the vaccine. This miracle has happened due to the efforts made by people’s participation. Chief Minister Chouhan also thanked the media for their cooperation in creating an environment for vaccination.
Wearing a mask and other precautions must
Chief Minister Chouhan said that Corona had created the worst conditions in the state. We have been able to come out of the crisis situation with the help of mutual cooperation and spirit of struggle. At present, Corona is under control in the state. 30 positive cases of Corona have been detected simultaneously in Mhow and Indore. As a result, the number of Corona infected in the state has reached 36. This means that we need to be careful about Corona. Chief Minister Chouhan directed the Indore district administration to take necessary precautions to prevent the spread of infection. Chief Minister Chouhan said that it is necessary to motivate people to wear masks and follow the necessary precautions related to Corona protocol.
Chief Minister Chouhan said that doctors and scientists at the global level are of the opinion that maximum protection from Corona is possible only through vaccination. Special activities are being conducted for vaccination in the country. About 84 percent of the population has already received the first dose of vaccination in the state. This in itself is a great achievement. As a result of this, we have been able to stop the spread of infection in the people of the state.
First dose should be administered to every eligible person
Chief Minister Chouhan said that 100 percent vaccination of the remaining population has to be ensured in the vaccination campaign to be held on September 27. All sections of the society, religious leaders, social workers, lawyers, professors, businessmen, social organizations, employees, officers, all should try that the first dose of vaccine should be adminisered to all those who are available in the state for vaccination.
It is important to make people realize that not getting vaccinated is a crime
Chief Minister Chouhan said that an intensive campaign should be launched on social media to motivate people for vaccination. Efforts should be made for vaccination intensively on 25, 26, 27 September. In order to create an environment, activities should be conducted through tomtom, hoardings as well as press. Chief Minister Chouhan said that there is a need to develop a feeling among the people that if they are not getting the vaccine, they are committing some crime. In fact, by not getting the vaccine, they are putting their own lives in danger, as well as they are becoming a threat to their acquaintances and family members. It is necessary to make people feel guilty. Chief Minister Chouhan said that the work of vaccination should be done by making a list at the gram panchayat and ward level. Identify those who have been vaccinated and those who are left. On this basis, by giving yellow rice, by contacting door-to-door, by telling the importance of vaccination, people must be motivated for vaccination.
Special arrangements should be made for vaccination of the handicapped and elderly
Chief Minister Chouhan said that vehicles should be arranged to bring them to the vaccination center. Those elderly and handicapped who cannot come to the center should be vaccinated at their homes. If all of us pledge to join the work of vaccination, then on September 27, we will be successful in the task of administering the first dose of vaccination to 100 percent eligible population of the state. Madhya Pradesh will be the first among the major states of the country to have administered the first dose. This will be a proud achievement for the state.
Third wave will not be allowed to come under any circumstances
Chief Minister Chouhan said that a campaign focused on Jan Kalyan and Suraaj is being launched in the state from September 17 to October 7, 2021. Several programmes are being conducted in the campaign. In the field of health, 263 new health institutions are being started in the state. Expansion of health facilities is also necessary to face the third wave of Corona. We will not allow the third wave to come under any circumstances.
Campaign for Public Welfare, Development and Good Governance
Chief Minister Chouhan said that the programme of the Energy Department will be held on September 27 in the campaign to be conducted from September 17 to October 7. The programme of Education Department will be on September 28, programme on women empowerment on September 29, programme of industrial development on September 30, programme of Rural Development Department on October 1, programme of Jal Jeevan Mission on October 4 and programme of ownership scheme on October 6. The final event will be held on October 7, which is being focused on good governance. Along with this, a food festival ‘Anna Utsav’ will also be organized. CM Helpline, One Day Governance, Samadhan Online are also being started. It is a campaign of public welfare, development and suraaj (good governance). In Guna, some irregularities in ration have been found. Chief Minister Chouhan congratulated those who took action. Chief Minister Chouhan said that our campaign and action against mafia will continue further. Houses will be built for the poor on the land redeemed from the mafia.
MP V.D. Sharma said that a target of 71 lakh vaccines had been set in the next seven days on September 17, the birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi,. During this period 73.50 lakh people were vaccinated. The state has presented a successful model of public participation.

Additional Chief Secretary Health Mohammad Suleman told in the presentation on Covid-19 vaccination that :-
The total estimated population of the state above 18 years is 5 crore 49 lakh 50 thousand. Out of this, 4 crore 63 lakh 60 thousand persons i.e. 84 percent have received the first dose and one crore 35 lakh 20 thousand i.e. 25 percent have received the second dose.
Out of the eligible population of the state, 85 lakh 90 thousand people are yet to receive the first dose.
Madhya Pradesh ranks first in the country by administering 84 percent of the first dose to the total eligible population in the state-wise Covid vaccination.
Madhya Pradesh has set the record for the highest number of consecutive doses in the campaign. The Maha Abhiyan conducted on June 21– 17 lakh 62 thousand 838 persons in the first, 24 lakh 94 thousand 563 persons in the Maha Abhiyan – II on August 25 and 29 lakh 22 thousand 537 persons in the Maha Abhiyan – III on September 17.
In Bhopal and Indore, 100 percent eligible persons got the first dose of the vaccine.
More than 80 percent vaccination of the first dose completed in 42 districts of the state.
Vaccination is not less than 70 percent in any of the districts. Sidhi and Bhind are at the bottom with 74 per cent and 72 per cent respectively – Window to News
