Governor honors non-Hindi Workers
Bhopal 02 October 2021: Governor Mangubhai Patel has said that to increase the global reputation of Hindi, its base will have to be strengthened in the country. He said that any society with a strong language is also strong. The power of language is based on the behavior, feelings and emotions of its speaker. To make Hindi stronger, efforts are necessary to make the society strong, capable and prosperous.
Governor Patel was addressing a non-Hindi language service award ceremony organized by the Rashtra Bhasha Prachar Samiti at Hindi Bhawan. The Governor remembered Mahatma Gandhi and former Prime Minister Lal Bahadur Shastri on their birth anniversary and garlanded their portraits. He honored 11 persons with Hindi Sevi Samman and three with Vishisht Samman. Former MP, Rashtrabhasha Prachar Samiti Vice-Chairman Raghunandan Sharma was also present.
Governor Patel said that the service of Hindi is the service of the nation. Honoring individuals and institutions engaged in service to Hindi is honoring of the nation. He said that the global form of Hindi is continuously improving. Today Hindi is taught in universities of all countries of the world. Representatives from 45 countries participate in the World Hindi Conference. He said that the present era is the age of technology. Hindi has to be made the language of modern, advanced science. It is the responsibility of the government and society to provide new opportunities for knowledge and business to Hindi speaking people. Appreciating the Hindi song presented in the event, Patel congratulated the organizers for the successful event. He also wished the respected non-Hindi servants a bright future.
Chairman of the committee, Sukhdev Prasad said that the use of Hindi in commercial work is increasing rapidly. He said that efforts are being made to strengthen the overall Indian culture through the development of Hindi. Committee Director K.C. Pant said that organizing the function is an opportunity for introspection. The committee is constantly contemplating on the issues of Hindi. In an initiative of harmony and co-ordination in the nation through Hindi, non-Hindi workers are being honored and discussion series on various subjects are being held. Jawahar Kanawat, Director, Hindi Bhawan Nyas, read the commendation in the programme while Surendra Bihari Goswami proposed the vote of thanks – Window to News
