Make every effort to empower daughters: Chief Minister Chouhan

State level programme to be organized at Minto Hall on October 14
 
Bhopal 12 October 2021: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that it is necessary to make full efforts to empower daughters. It is our responsibility not only to worship daughters but also to protect them and make them dear to everyone. All efforts should be made to ensure the education and prosperity of daughters. State level Ladli Laxmi Utsav should be organized properly in Bhopal on October 14. Efforts should be made to connect around 40 lakh Ladli Laxmis/daughters through virtual medium. Chief Minister Chouhan was reviewing the preparations for the state level Ladli Laxmi Utsav at Minto Hall today.

Online transfer of 5 crore 99 lakh scholarships to 21 thousand 550 Ladlis

Chief Minister Chouhan said that girls should be virtually connected in every Anganwadi and Panchayat buildings in this festival organized for their prosperity and empowerment. Scholarships worth Rs. 5 crore 99 lakh will be transferred online to 21 thousand 550 ladies of the state. The programme should be telecast on TV, Doordarshan and spread through computer, laptop, mobile in every village, Anganwadi centers, all projects, districts, municipalities and district headquarters. A link of this broadcast should be sent to all public representatives, departmental officers, members of Shaurya Dal, Self-Help Groups and Matru Sahyogini, to give a message to the Ladlis and their mothers to join the Utsav. Chief Minister Chouhan also directed to make arrangements for uploading photos, registering feedbacks and receiving suggestions from all the Laxmis on the portal of the festival.

Ladli Laxmi Yojana 2.0 should be made better

Chief Minister Chouhan said that suggestions should be taken from the public to improve Ladli Laxmi Yojana. The Ladli Laxmi festival should be ensured by fixing one day in a year. In order to improve Ladli Laxmi Yojana 2.0, it has been suggested that an amount of Rs 20 thousand should be given to all the Ladlis after passing Class XIIth, after completing at least two years of studies in graduation and vocational courses. Ladli Laxmi Diwas should be organized like a festival in the state, district and gram panchayat level. At the time of Ladli Laxmi registration, the birth certificate should be issued alongwith a message of the Chief Minister. Apart from ensuring 100 percent vaccination of Ladli Laxmis, care should be taken to ensure their nutrition and making them anaemia free.

Suggestion to declare villages Ladli Laxmi friendly

A suggestion was given to declare village panchayats and villages Ladli Laxmi friendly, to prepare a portal of Ladli Laxmis for vocational training through Women, Finance and Development Corporation on the basis of appropriate parameters.
Identifying the interest of Ladli Laxmis through the portal, efforts should be made for providing training to Ladli Laxmis who have passed Class XII, issuing Learning Driving License to each Ladli Laxmi above 18 years, after training and suggesting Ladli Laxmis who do not want to take vocational training in performing arts and fine arts according to their interest.
