Bhopal 14 October 2021: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that education, security, health facilities, self-reliance, prosperity and respect for daughters are our priority in Madhya Pradesh. It is the responsibility of the entire society, not just of Mama. Woman you are only reverent, if this feeling is strong then surely the country will move forward. In the state, the work of economic empowerment of the girl child, giving them vocational training and giving guarantee on bank loans will be done by the government. Tuition fees will also be arranged for higher education. An amount of 25 thousand rupees will be given to Ladli Laxmi daughters who take admission in the college. All possible cooperation will be provided for development in areas like music and painting.

Chief Minister Chouhan said that daughters without parents or found in a dependent situation will also be given the benefits of the scheme by treating them as Ladli Laxmi. Ladli Laxmi Day will be celebrated as a festival not only at the state level but also at the district, block and gram panchayat level. The effort is that Madhya Pradesh's Ladli Laxmi Yojana should become a role model in the whole world.
Chief Minister Chouhan was addressing the Ladli Laxmi festival in Minto Hall auditorium today. In the festival, Yoga Guru Anandmurti Guru Maa arrived from Chaitanya Ashram, Sonepat, Haryana and addressed the daughters. Chief Minister Chouhan transferred a scholarship of Rs 5.99 crore into the accounts of 21 thousand 550 Ladlis of the state during the 'Ladli Laxmi Utsav' through a single click.

Daughters who were abandoned will be made Ladli Laxmis

Chief Minister Chouhan said that I want Ladli Laxmi Yojana to become such an example that the whole world should follow this path and work for the empowerment of daughters. Daughters should keep moving forward, in this is the progress and development of the country, in this is the empowerment of the society. Chief Minister Chouhan said that we are deciding that even such daughters, who have been left behind or have no one to look after them, will also be considered as Ladli Laxmi and will be given the benefit of the scheme. We have made Ladli Laxmi law, which no one will be able to change and the future of daughters will be bright.

Ladli Laxmi friendly Gram Panchayats

Chief Minister Chouhan said that on the basis of the number of birth of daughters, Ladli Laxmi friendly Gram Panchayat/village will be declared. Chief Minister Chouhan said that parents are urged not to pressurize their daughters to become this or that. Let them be whoever they want to be. These daughters will go to great heights and bring laurels to the state and your name too. Chief Minister Chouhan said that we have decided that Ladli should get the certificate at the time of birth itself, they will get 100 percent vaccination. They have to be free from anaemia and their nutrition has to be taken care of.

Chief Minister Chouhan said that Women Finance and Development Corporation should prepare such a portal for vocational training, on the basis of which Ladli Laxmis get training according to their interest. Ladli Laxmi who does not want to take a graduation degree or vocational training will be given necessary support according to her performance in arts. Digital and Financial Literacy Centre will be set up in every government school. Instructions will be given to set up such centres in all girl hostels. Every Ladli Laxmi will be given training regarding learning driving license on attaining the age of 18 years.

Daughters don't become a burden, be a boon

Chief Minister Chouhan said that the State Government has reserved Rs 47 thousand 200 crore for the welfare of the Ladlis, which they have to get from time to time. The idea is that daughters should not become a burden, but a boon. This is not just a plan, it is an attempt to change the vision of the society.
Chief Minister Chouhan said that as soon as he became the Chief Minister, the officers were asked to make such a plan that when daughters are born, then they are born as lakhpati. After a lot of exercise, the Ladli Laxmi scheme was formed. Chief Minister Chouhan said that the parents of all the girls are urged to always take care of their daughters. Daughters will increase your respect. If there is any problem in the care of the daughters, then inform about it also.

Little-Little Ladli Laxmis are now going to college, the plan has been appreciated

Chief Minister Chouhan said that before he became the Chief Minister, he used to fulfill the responsibility of marriage of daughters as MLA and MP. After the year 2005, the process of starting Ladli Laxmi Yojana and Mukhyamantri Kanya Vivah/Nikah Yojana began. In the Mahila Panchayat held at the Chief Minister's residence on July 30, 2006, everyone accepted the proposal of depositing amount in the name of girl child when they were born, in which there was a provision of providing Rupees one lakh on the girl arraigning the age of 21 years. When the Ladli Laxmi scheme was made, there was also opposition to it. Chief Minister Chouhan said that he started the implementation of Ladli Laxmi Yojana from the year 2007 with strong determination. Today, seeing small Ladli Laxmis of 14 years back getting admission in class 10th to 12th and college, not only gives happiness but also gives a feeling of being successful and meaningful in life. In the state in the six months of 2021-22, 1 lakh 31 thousand new girls have been registered under Ladli Laxmi Yojana. Since the start of the scheme, scholarships worth Rs 185 crore have been provided to 6 lakh 62 thousand girls who have taken admission in class 6, class 9, class 11 and class 12. The scheme is acclaimed across the country and has been adopted by many states.

Girl and women welfare priority, new suggestions also invited

Chief Minister Chouhan said that taking serious note of the incidents of kidnapping of daughters during the Muskaan Abhiyan in the state, more than 10 thousand daughters were rescued from the clutches of the miscreants. Attention was given to Samman Abhiyan, Pankh Abhiyan, Aparajita camp for self-defence training, efforts to eradicate malnutrition, Umang helpline, increase in scholarship amount and the provision of capital punishment for incidents like rape of innocent daughters and their implementation. To make Ladlis self-dependent, the format of Ladli Laxmi Yojana-02 will be finalized soon. Chief Minister Chouhan also called for providing new suggestions for the scheme and empowerment of daughters on
mygov.in.

Daughters are auspicious, they are Vedic hymns

In his address, Chief Minister Chouhan recited a popular poem written by Azhar Hashmi, which said, “Daughters are good wishes, daughters are holy prayers. Daughters are tales of Zeenat Hadith, daughters are Jataka stories. Daughters are the words of the Guru Granth, daughters are Vedic hymns. In whom God himself resides, daughters are those prayers. Daughters are stories of pride, of sacrifice, tenacity, virtue, courage. They drink Pir with a smile, daughters are joyful sorrows. They remove the heat, daughters are clouds full of water. Seen in times of trouble, daughters are sentiments." Chief Minister Chouhan symbolically gave scholarship acceptance letters, Mama's message and certificates to some Ladli Laxmi daughters in the programme.

Girls have to come out of helpless syndrome

Maa Anandmurti, who was present as a special guest in Ladli Laxmi Utsav, said that Madhya Pradesh government has given important support system to the Ladlis. She said that the girl or woman whose morale is high, self-strength is high, they do not have to depend on anyone. She can live her life by raising her head with her self-power. Guru Maa said that girls and women have to come out of the helpless syndrome. She said that you have self-esteem, never consider yourself weak, this strength should come from your conscience. Self-power is necessary for girls and women that is the form of Shakti. Maa Anandmurti Guru Maa said that the Ladli Laxmi festival is important on the holy day of Navami. She urged the Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan to include martial arts training in the school curriculum. She said that this training will not only give an opportunity to learn self-defence tricks but also develop concentration. She said that as it is mandatory to pass in other subjects, in the same way it should be made compulsory to pass in this martial arts training course as well.

Maa Anandmurti Guru Maa said that school education prepares them for jobs, but on many occasions children are unable to continue their studies. In such a situation, if the subject matter of skill development and self-employment is added to the curriculum in the school syllabus, then it will be of great benefit.

Praising Chief Minister Chouhan, Guru Maa said that Ladli Laxmi is a wonderful scheme. The Chief Minister has made this scheme successful by becoming the Mama of the daughters. Other states should also follow suit. She urged the Ladli Laxmis present to take a vow that as the Chief Minister is now shaping the future of lakhs of girls by becoming the Mama, when you too stand on your feet, then help five such girls. If you have taken today, then also have the ability to give tomorrow. The girls present in the Minto Hall meeting hall along with Maa Anandmurti Guru Maa and Chief Minister Chouhan also took group photographs.
