Bhopal 29 October 2021: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that an amount of Rs 2500 crore will be provided to small businessmen, especially the self-help groups, through banks. Their business will develop with bank linkage. Arrangements will be made for the sale of products of self-help groups. They will be given a place to sit in the markets. Necessary instructions have been given to all the collectors in this regard.

Chief Minister Chouhan today interacted and addressed local villagers at Dhamna village in Chhatarpur district. Chouhan said that Prime Minister Modi has given a call to make local vocal. This will also provide financial support to small artisans. Make efforts to ensure that these artisans too have a good Diwali.

Chief Minister Chouhan said that collectors have been instructed to provide space to sell local products i.e. indigenous goods in Haat-bazaar on Diwali. No money should be involved in this. Make arrangements till Diwali so that these people are able to sell their goods. No tax should be levied on it. I have come to promote the goods made by them.

Chief Minister Chouhan met the craftsmen who made lamps, idols of Lakshmi ji and other clay artifacts in Chhatarpur district today before the festival of lights. Chief Minister Chouhan interacted with the craftsmen and encouraged them. After meeting many people of Prajapati Samaj, Chief Minister Chouhan also sought information about their problems regarding their work. The Chief Minister was welcomed by the artisans associated with clay craft. Local residents including Prajapati Samaj were very happy with the arrival of Chief Minister Chouhan.

Chief Minister Chouhan also met and interacted with the women members of Roshni Self-Help Group. Chief Minister Chouhan also informed the women about the steps taken to boost the movement of self help groups in the state. On this occasion, the details of the works of Roshni Self Help Group were given to Chief Minister Chouhan.

CM has food at Noneram Prajapati’s house

Chief Minister Chouhan reached Noneram Prajapati’s house at Dhamna village in Rajnagar block of Chhatarpur district and got acquainted with the family members. Chouhan was welcomed by the family members. Chouhan had lunch with the family in dona-pattal. The members of the family courteously served him food. The Chief Minister was all praise for the home made food. The family members of Noneram Prajapati and the women of self-help groups expressed their joy on having the Chief Minister amidst them. After the meal, the Chief Minister inquired about the well-being of the elders, wife and children of Noneram.

While observing the hand-made products made by Prajapati Samaj in Dhamna village of Chhatarpur district, Chief Minister Chouhan said that the Prime Minister has given a mantra to make the local vocal. Purchase only what people make here so that they can get employment.

CM makes earthen lampsand flower pot on the potter’s wheel

Chief Minister Chouhan along with Noneram Prajapati himself made an earthen lamp and made flower pot on the potter’s wheel. He said that a system of easy availability of clay would be made for the clay manufactured products. Apart from this, training will also be given to promote clay art. He appealed to the public to buy the products made by clay artisans, so that the demand for their products could increase. Chief Minister Chouhan also appealed to the people to get vaccinated against Corona.

Women present gifts to CM

Chief Minister Chouhan was presented with hand-made clay diyas and other products by the women of self-help groups as a Diwali gift. The Chief Minister inquired about the income of the women and posed for photographs with the women of the group. He wished everyone present a very Happy Diwali.

CM addresses villagers

Chief Minister Chouhan, while addressing the villagers at Dhamna village, said that local products would definitely get a boost due to the efforts of women of self-help groups. He said that he had come to village Dhamna with the aim of promoting the products made by the local artisans. The Chief Minister bought handmade products here. He said that efforts would be made to increase the income of the women of the group to at least Rs 10 thousand per month. Posts of one lakh government jobs will be made available to youth in the state. Better employment opportunities will be available in private jobs as well. An interest-free loan of Rs 10,000 is being provided to small traders through the Street Vendors Scheme. He talked about upgrading the middle school of Dhamna to high school from the next academic session.
