Bhopal 29 October 2021: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that Sambal Yojana is a very humane scheme. Sambal Yojana provides assistance so that life of families remains easy under all circumstances and their livelihood keeps running. This scheme gives the assurance that the government stands with the beneficiaries at all times. Under the Sambal Yojana, an amount of Rs 170 crore ex-gratia was transferred to the accounts of Sambal beneficiaries through a single click in 7 thousand 700 cases by Chief Minister Chouhan.
Chief Minister Chouhan said that if the beneficary dies in an accident, the state government will give an assistance of Rs 4 lakh to the family. There is a provision to give an amount of Rs 2 lakh in case of normal death. Under the scheme, there is a provision of providing assistance of Rs. 5 thousand for performing last rites. Today, an amount of Rs two lakh each has been deposited in the accounts of 06 thousand 900 beneficiaries on normal deaths. In 800 cases of death due to unfortunate accident, an amount of Rs 4 lakh per person has been released. This amount will help people to run their family properly. Chief Minister Chouhan said that those who are no more cannot be brought back, but the state government can provide support to those who have become destitute after their departure. This assistance has been issued with the same spirit.
Chief Minister Chouhan said that many families live in small houses in rural areas. It is difficult to live in small houses as it does not accommodate many people. Therefore, arrangements will be made for independent plots in rural areas of the state, for every such family, who do not have a place to live. Instructions have been issued for the Mukhya Mantri Awasiya Bhu-Adhikar Yojana. It is a ray of hope for those who are forced to live in inhuman conditions due to lack of space. This scheme will fulfill the dream of the people to own a piece of land where they can reside with their families.
Chief Minister Chouhan said that so far an amount of Rs 1306 crore 86 lakh has been released in 01 lakh 53 thousand 935 cases under Sambal Yojana. Mukhyamantri Jan-Kalyan Sambal Yojana has been started from April 1, 2018. There is also a provision to provide assistance of Rs one lakh on partial permanent disability and Rs two lakh on permanent disability to the Sambal beneficiary and his family members in the scheme.
