Chief Minister Chouhan congratulates on the administration of seven crore vaccine doses in the state
Bhopal 30 October 2021: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that Madhya Pradesh has created history in vaccination. The number of first and second doses in the state has crossed 7 crores. Clearly yesterday was a historic day for Madhya Pradesh. While 100 crore vaccine doses have been administered in India under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi, which is a wonderful and surprising achievement, Madhya Pradesh has also done important work by providing 92 percent of the target population with the first dose and 37 percent of its brothers-sisters with the second dose for prevention from corona. Chief Minister Chouhan said that for this all doctors, staff nurses, vaccinators, verifiers, mobilizers, Anganwadi workers, ASHA workers, data managers, cold chain handlers, vaccine van drivers, cold chain technicians, A.V.D., members of control and command team etc. deserve special congratulations. The Chief Minister also heartily congratulated the administration of all the districts, police administration, all the frontline workers of the local administration.
Chief Minister Chouhan was addressing a dialogue programme on completion of 7 crore Covid vaccine doses in the state in the meeting hall of National Health Mission today. Collectors also joined it through video conferencing. Chief Minister Chouhan said that meetings of Crisis Management Groups should be organised in the districts, in which work can be done with the participation of all sections in the upcoming vaccination campaign.
Success has been achieved under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi
Chief Minister Chouhan said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, 100 crore population of the country has received the vaccine dose, which is a record. For the first time a vaccine was made in the country. Earlier, the vaccine was made in other countries only. Indigenous vaccine was developed in India, for which the will power of Prime Minister Modi and the efforts of our scientists are important. India has been the best performer in vaccination work in the world. Because India’s population is greater than other countries and yet the vaccine was made available free of cost to the people in the country. Surely the Prime Minister Modi deserves congratulations. Chief Minister Chouhan expressed his gratitude to Prime Minister Modi on behalf of eight and a half crore people of the state.
Team worked hard, congratulations to all of them
Chief Minister Chouhan said that Minister of Public Health and Family Welfare and Medical Education Department, Additional Chief Secretary, Principal Secretary, Secretary, Commissioner, other officers and all the people involved in the team deserve congratulations. Everyone has worked under adverse conditions. When vaccination was opposed and many people were in a state of confusion and fear. Then the public was motivated for vaccination. After working day and night, people were convinced by going to their homes and fields. Health workers crossed rivers and streams and did the work of applying the vaccine. There is a feeling of congratulating all of them from the heart. No appreciation is enough for all of them. Madhya Pradesh is proud of such hardworking workers. The collectors worked hard. Made the subordinate staff active. The Chief Secretary of the state and top police officers also continued to lead the vaccination work.
Role of public representatives and religious leaders has also been important, will be documented
Chief Minister Chouhan said that the public representatives of the state have given important cooperation in the vaccination work. Ministers, MPs, MLAs, mayors, municipal presidents, corporators, officials of janpad, district, village panchayat, religious leaders all became motivators. Social organisations also gave full cooperation. Along with this, media colleagues also conducted awareness campaigns. This was made possible with everyone's cooperation. The public was motivated to get the vaccine by giving yellow rice, by providing special seating arrangements, by providing facilities to drop them back to their homes. Chief Minister Chouhan said that these were innovative experiments. These should be documented.
Combined strength of government and society, the basis of success
Chief Minister Chouhan said that the combined strength of the government and society became the basis of this success. Still a lot of efforts are to be made for the success of the second dose. This is just the stop. Our destination is complete vaccination. Chief Minister Chouhan said that the experiences of the earlier campaigns would be useful in the new vaccination campaign. Let us leave no stone unturned to vaccinate those who have not yet been vaccinated. It’s a challenge. We should not take a sigh of relief until the goal is achieved. People left out from vaccination will have to be motivated to get vaccinated. If all the political parties also cooperate in this, then the work will become easier. If everyone gets the second dose by December 31, then we can be free from fears like the third wave. Chief Minister Chouhan said that those who do excellent work at the district level should be honoured and encouraged. On this occasion, Chief Minister Chouhan mentioned the hard work of Alirajpur ANM Reena Rai. Prime Minister Modi has also underlined the role of Reena Rai. Apart from this, Harshita of Jhabua and ANM Gayatri of Bhopal are also eligible for congratulations, who got 61 thousand vaccine doses administered. Chief Minister Chouhan said that the morale of all such workers would be continuously boosted.
Vaccination work should be done daily, children should also be motivated, college students should lead
Chief Minister Chouhan said that vaccination work should be done daily. This sequence should not be stopped even during the festival. Routine vaccination should be such that at least 5 to 6 lakh doses are administered daily. Vaccination work is to continue in parallel with other tasks. When the dates of the special campaign are fixed, work should be done to motivate the general public with attractive measures. Chief Minister Chouhan said that now children should also do the work of motivating the parents. All the students should take this responsibility. Work to create the necessary environment, especially leading college students. Vaccine should be given door-to-door. Also the Jan Abhiyan Parishad, NCC Cadets and Corona Volunteers should make appeals.
Create a Motivational Group
Chief Minister Chouhan said that some people can form a motivational group together to provide the benefit of second dose to the citizens. Political parties, friends of the media, students, social workers can be involved in this. In the next two months, it will be easy to reach the destination with hard work. There is also a guideline to be followed on festivals. Try to avoid infection by taking necessary precautions. Chief Minister Chouhan said that even after the fear of the virus has subsided among the general public, the vaccination efforts have not got cent percent success.
Expressed gratitude to the cooperating agencies
After the dialogue programme at NHM Bhavan, Chief Minister Chouhan said that it would not have been possible to achieve success without the cooperation of allied agencies like World Health Organisation, UNICEF, UNDP etc. Chief Minister Chouhan expected that all these partner agencies would play a cooperative role in future also.
