Bhopal 08 November 2021: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that the departments concerned with employment should prepare an action plan by setting targets by March 31, 2022. Similarly, the roadmap for the coming year should also be prepared from now, so that employment opportunities can be created for more and more youths in the state. Chief Minister Chouhan said that the employment sector fills people with enthusiasm. Chief Minister Chouhan was holding a review meeting of Employment Group under the roadmap of Atma-nirbhar Madhya Pradesh in Mantralaya.
Minister of Public Works, Cottage and Village Industries Gopal Bhargava, Minister of Panchayat and Rural Development Mahendra Singh Sisodia, Minister of Sports and Youth Welfare, Technical Education and Skill Development and Employment Yashodhara Raje Scindia, Minister of Mineral Resources and Labour Brijendra Pratap Singh, Micro , Small and Medium Enterprises Minister Omprakash Sakhlecha, Higher Education Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, Chief Secretary Iqbal Singh Bains, Principal Secretary Industrial Policy and Investment Promotion Sanjay Shukla and officials of concerned departments virtually attended.
Concrete steps should be taken to increase employment opportunities
Chief Minister Chouhan directed to take concrete steps to increase employment opportunities in Industrial Policy and Investment Promotion, Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, Mineral Resources, Cottage and Village Industries, Technical Education, Skill Development and Employment, Labour, Forest and Science and Technology Departments.
Provide employment to more and more unemployed
Chief Minister Chouhan said that various activities should be ensured in all industrial training institutes in the state in a better way. The construction work of other skill development and technical institutions including Global Skill Park should be completed expeditiously in the state. Startup activities should be promoted. Make sure to reach maximum number of unemployed youth through employment fairs. Various proposals related to development of IT parks and employment in Indore and Bhopal should be reviewed from time to time and the hurdles should be removed. No stone should be left unturned in creating employment in rural areas.
Complete infrastructures for employment on time
Chief Minister Chouhan said that development work of 7 new industrial parks has been started in the state, which should be completed and started on time. All kinds of obstacles should be removed for setting up different types of clusters and incubation centres. In the case of employment, there should be result-oriented work. Any delay in employment related works will not be tolerated.
Rural home-stay becoming popular
Chief Minister Chouhan said that there are immense employment opportunities in the tourism sector. Many important steps have been taken in the field of tourism in Madhya Pradesh. There are three World Heritage Monuments in Madhya Pradesh. Due to the infrastructural development, there has been a positive change in the economy of the villages around these places. Tourists are taking advantage of more than a dozen rural home-stays in rural areas only around Khajuraho. Apart from this, the products of local artisans are also being purchased by the tourists, which are proving to be useful steps as per the priorities set under Atma-nirbhar Madhya Pradesh. Employment opportunities have increased due to tourism. He said that a better strategy should be made in the field of increasing employment opportunities through One District One Product Scheme and Chief Minister Udyam Kranti Yojana – Window to News
