Bhopal 08 November 2021: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan was called on by the Industrialists today at Mantralaya and was informed about the present and future investments in Madhya Pradesh. Chouhan assured about full cooperation to the industrialists by the state government for the establishment and development of various units.

Indorama Synthetics Limited proposes to invest Rs 600 crores

Executive Director of Indo-Rama Synthetics India Limited Vishal Lohia, met Chief Minister Chouhan and told that he has decided to set up a spinning unit in the textile sector in Madhya Pradesh with an investment of Rs 600 crore. This project will provide direct and indirect employment to 3 thousand 200 persons. The Industrial Institute has also envisaged an investment of Rs 600 crore in the second phase. In this way a total investment of Rs 1200 crores is planned. The company will purchase cotton from the farmers of the state, which will also benefit the farmers. Presently the company manufactures cotton and polyester yarn. Their products are exported to European and South American countries.

Rohit Doshi, industrialist of Mahima Fiber, Manoj Baheti of Amrit Papers and Syed Arshad Ali Warsi of Hoswin Incinerator called on Chief Minister Chouhan. Principal Secretary to Chief Minister Manish Rastogi and Principal Secretary Industries Sanjay Shukla were present.
Two units of Mahima Fibers, working in the field of cotton ginning, spinning and weaving in Madhya Pradesh, are presently functioning in Dhar and Khargone districts with an investment of Rs 600 crore. MD, Mahima Fibers, Rohit Doshi apprised Chief Minister Chouhan about new investment proposals worth about Rs 625 crore in both the districts, in which about 2,000 people would get employment opportunities. This will be one of its kind industrial investment in Madhya Pradesh and the needy youth will get employment.

Manoj Baheti, Director of Amrit Papers Private Limited called on Chief Minister Chouhan and informed that 17.75 hectares of land has been purchased in Bodla village of Dhar district. A Craft paper unit with a manufacturing capacity of one lakh metric tonnes per annum is being established on it. An investment of about Rs 150 crores is proposed in the first phase of the project. This will provide employment to a total of 350 people. About Rs 150 crore will be invested in the second phase also. Thus a total investment of about Rs. 300 crore is being made. Presently the business of newsprint, photo copier paper, packaging board etc. is being done by the company.

Managing Director of Hoswin Incinerator, Syed Arshad Ali Warsi, met Chief Minister Chouhan and told that the company cooperates with the local bodies in the field of waste management. Common Bio Medical Waste Treatment Facility is also being operated in Indore since last 20 years. A waste-to-product unit has been proposed at Chirakhan village in Depalpur tehsil of Indore district with an investment of Rs.153 crore 79 lakh in the new investment proposal. With the commissioning of this unit, about 450 people will get employment. Works of composting from organic waste, disposal of sanitary diapers, plastic recycling and production of compressed bio gas from bio-methanation will be possible with the establishment of this unit – Window to News
