Bhopal 08 November 2021: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that there are two contexts of the Mahasammelan to be organized on Tribal Pride Day. First of all, this Mahasammelan is being held on the birth anniversary of Lord Birsa Munda. Apart from this, there is also a celebration of the benefits received by the tribal brethren from the government schemes launched for the tribes and the manifestation of the joy generated by the change in their lives. It is a matter of pride for the state that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the Mahasammelan. Chief Minister Chouhan was reviewing the preparations being made for the Tribal Pride Day Mahasammelan and the dedication of the country’s first PPP-built Habibganj railway station at Jamboori Maidan on November 15 at Mantralaya. All the divisional commissioners and district collectors virtually participated in the meeting.

Programme will start from 12 noon
Programme will be held in every tribal-dominated village panchayat

Chief Minister Chouhan said that Prime Minister Modi will also launch Sickle Cell Eradication Mission and Ration Aapke Dwar Yojana in the state at the Mahasammelan. In the programme appointment letters will be given to PVTG teachers and a short film based on Covid-19 will also be screened. Chief Minister Chouhan said that the state level programme will start from 12 noon. Programmes will be held in every tribal dominated gram panchayat of the state including Bhopal, where tribal brethren will be connected to the programme through TV sets and webcasts.

Maximum people of the state should be connected with PM Modi’s address

Chief Minister Chouhan said that all the women of tribal women self-help groups of the state, beneficiaries of government schemes, students, beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, beneficiaries of Kisan Samman Yojana, beneficiaries of Ladli Laxmi Yojana and people associated with such other schemes and more and more people of the state should be connected with the address of Prime Minister Modi.

Arrangement of transport, food and accommodation should be organized and safe
Control room will be built in every district and state level

Chief Minister Chouhan said that proper and safe transportation, food and accommodation should be ensured for the people coming from different districts of the state. Control rooms should be established in each district along with control rooms at the state level and the control rooms should be in constant contact with respect to the movement of buses. Chief Minister Chouhan directed that the responsibility of each bus should be given to an administrative officer-employee and a public representative. Responsibility should be ensured by appointing a coordinator at the district level also.

Tributes will be paid to tribal heroes who contributed in freedom struggle

Tributes will be paid to tribal heroes for their contribution in the freedom struggle in the programme. About 2 lakh people from different tribes will participate in the programme. About one crore tribals will be connected to the programme through webcast. All the tribes of the state like Gond, Baiga, Bhil, Korku, Sahariya, Kol etc. will participate in the programme. This programme will depict the traditional dress, culture, life values ​​etc. of the tribes. Products of Self-Help Groups of Tribal Community will be displayed under Aajeevika Mission and Van Dhan Yojana on the vocal for local theme in the programme.
