Complete unfinished projects at a faster pace: Chief Minister Chouhan

Bhopal 17 November 2021: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that the work of incomplete projects should be completed at a fast pace in the state. Action will be taken by imposing penalty on construction agencies for delays and irregularties in projects. Contractors will be blacklisted. To complete the projects on time, the construction agency and the concerned department should work in coordination. Chief Minister Chouhan was reviewing the projects of Pragati Online Project Management Framework at Mantralaya today.

Develop a new work culture

Chief Minister Chouhan said that all departments should develop a new work culture. All the agencies should get together and set goals for completing the work in coordination with each other.

Kotha- Barrage Project

Chief Minister Chouhan, while reviewing the progress of work on Kotha-Barrage project in Vidisha district, asked the reason for the delay. He expressed displeasure and directed the officials of the Water Resources Department to complete the work on time.

Maa Ratangarh Multipurpose Project

While reviewing the Maa Ratangarh multipurpose project of Datia district, Chief Minister Chouhan expressed displeasure over the Water Resources Department and said that they are still searching for land for the work of this project, this method of work is not right. He directed the officers of the Forest Department to cooperate in the task of finding land. This work will be reviewed again after one month during which there should be no reason for any delay. He gave instructions to start water suppy under the project in the year 2022.

Sleemanabad Tunnel

Chief Minister Chouhan asked for all possible cooperation in the work of Sleemanabad tunnel under Bargi project in Katni district. He directed that water in the tunnel should be started by June 2023 at any cost.

Bansagar Group Water Supply Scheme

Chief Minister Chouhan reviewed the Bansagar Group Water Supply Scheme of the Public Health Engineering Department in Shahdol district. He said that strict action would be taken against the construction agency for negligence in the work of the project. During the review of Bansagar Multivillage Water Supply Scheme, instructions were given not to let the work of permission be affected due to forest department. He said that the work of the project should be completed through coordination.

Amrit Water Supply Scheme

Chief Minister Chouhan reviewed the Amrit Water Supply Scheme of Indore district under the Urban Development Department. He said that the work of the project should be completed on time with total seriousness by increasing manpower.
