CM Chouhan pays tributes to Kailash Joshi on his death anniversary

Bhopal 24 November 2021: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan paid tributes to former Chief Minister Late Kailash Joshi on his death anniversary. Chouhan paid floral tributes by garlanding his portrait in the auditorium at his residence.

Late Joshi became the Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh after emergency in the year 1977-78. Joshi was chosen MLA 8 times, Member of Lok Sabha twice and Member of Rajya Sabha once. Joshi was one of the founding members of Jansangh in 1957.

Late Joshi served as the first state president from 1980 to 84 after the formation of the Bharatiya Janata Party. Joshi was also the Leader of the Opposition from 1972 to 1977. Late Joshi passed away at the age of 90 on November 24, 2019.

Chief Minister Chouhan has tweeted that on the death anniversary of our senior, revered former Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, Late. Joshi, I pay my respects at his feet. Every moment of his life was dedicated for the upliftment of the nation, state and society – Window to News
