At that time your Mama was Tantya, now your Mama is Shivraj. Don't worry about anything. This Yatra marks the glorious journey of revolutionary Jannayak Tantya Mama. He is the pride of Nimar, pride of Madhya Pradesh, and the pride of the whole country) Chief Minister Shivraj Singh said this in Nimadi dilect in a programme organised at Barod Ahir, the birthplace of Jannayak Tantya Mama in Khandwa district, on the occasion of the inauguration of the Gourav Kalash Yatra of Krantisurya Jannayak Tantya Mama.
Starting with the jai-ghosh of Bharat Mata and Jannayak Tantya Mama, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that it is a matter of pride for us that Jannayak Tantya Mama is venerated and revered in the entire country. While singing the praises of Kranti Surya Jannayak Tantya Mama, he said that Tantya Mama heralded the battle against exploitation and injustice. He looted money and food grains from the British and distributed it among the hungry and the needy. We salute this great revolutionary of the state. The State Government is celebrating the Balidan Diwas of Kranti Surya Jannayak Tantya Mama as Gourav Diwas.
Bowed to the descendants of Tantya Mama
Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan welcomed and felicitated the descendants of Tantya MamaSonibai Jaising, Vasudev Sirsate and Hemraj Sirsate by giving them bouquets. He said that it is a matter of pride for us that the descendants of Jannayak Tantya Mama are present among us. I bow my head and bow down to them.
Flowers will be offered on the holy soil in the Gourav Kalash Yatra
Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that till Jannayak Tantya Mama Gourav Kalash Yatra reaches Patalpani, garlands would be offered only on the holy soil Kalash. He said that no leader would be honoured with garlands in this yatra.
Patalpani will be developed as a new pilgrimage
Chief Minister Chouhan said that a huge statue would be established there by developing Patalpani, the sacrifice site of Jannayak Tantya Mama, as a Nav-teerth. He said that a proposal would be sent to the Central Government to rename Patalpani railway station as Tantya Mama railway station. Chief Minister Chouhan said that Bhanwarkua intersection in Indore would be named after Jannayak Tantya Mama. Chief Minister Chouhan said that the name of ISBT Indore Bus Stand would also be Jannayak Tantya Mama Bus Stand.
Everyone will get the right to housing
Chief Minister Chouhan said that all eligible families on the soil of Madhya Pradesh, who do not have plot to live, will be given plots to build houses. Assistance will be given in the housing schemes of the government to have plots first and then to build houses, so that they can live in their pucca houses.
All backlog posts will be filled in a year
Chief Minister Chouhan said that more than one lakh government posts of the backlog lying vacant in the state would be filled on priority. In order to provide livelihood resources to the people and to provide maximum employment, the government will provide cheap loans to the groups working under the Aajeevika Mission.
Sisters will get water from taps at home
Chief Minister Chouhan said that now sisters will not have to go anywhere else to get water. Under the 'Jal Jeevan Mission', water will be supplied to every household through a tap. The government will work by running a campaign to improve the standard of living of the Scheduled Tribes.
Life will change by conducting campaign against exploitation and injustice
Chief Minister Chouhan said that the government is determined to bring a change in their lives by campaigning against the exploitation and injustice being done against the Scheduled Tribes. They will be freed from all forms of exploitation and injustice. The government is working regularly in this direction. In order to get rid of the moneylender system, the state government has made rules, in which all the loans taken by the tribals till August 20 have been waived. The aim of the Madhya Pradesh government is to change the lives of the poor.
Chief Minister gave a call, come to Patalpani and offer garlands
Chief Minister Chouhan called upon everyone to come to Patalpani on the martyrdom day of Jannayak Tantya Mama on December 4 and pay floral tributes to the brave heroes of freedom. He said that today the Gourav Yatra will go from village to village with the Kalash of holy soil from Barod Ahir, the birthplace of Jannayak Tantya Mama, where flowers will rain on the Mati Kalash. The Yatra will reach Patalpani, Mhow in Indore district on December 4.
