Suggestions will be taken from the general poor class to provide advantage of the schemes - Chief Minister Chouhan

Chief Minister Chouhan took meeting of MP State General Category Welfare Commission
 
Bhopal 30 November 2021: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that social harmony is our basic mantra and it is our priority to provide justice to all sections. For this, the State General Category Welfare Commission will visit every division of the state and after taking suggestions from the general poor, an action plan will be made to benefit them. Chief Minister Chouhan was addressing the meeting of MP State General Category Welfare Commission at Mantralaya today.

Chief Minister Chouhan said that people's participation will increase with the visit of the commission and their ideas will reach the government. He said that the rounds of seminars, dialogues, discussions and deliberations should be continued by the commission in every division.

Work areas and schemes identified by the Commission

Compilation of all welfare schemes of the government and identification of general category beneficiaries in those schemes.
To provide immediate assistance to the general category people by the government in the event of disaster.

Assistance to encourage activities like agriculture, sports, cultural, bhajan mandli etc.
To ensure the participation and representation of the general category elders in the Mukhyamantri Teerth-Darshan Yojna.

Regular review of the schemes identified by the General Category Commission by a committee constituted at the district level under the chairmanship of the Collector.
Beneficiaries of general category to be given the help of coaching for various competitive examinations.

All the sections are getting the benefits of schemes and programmes run for the welfare of the people in all the departments of the government. Despite this, the people of the general category across the state can get proper benefits and the pending cases can be resolved, for this meaningful initiatives and efforts will be made by the Commission.

Chief Minister Chouhan assured to give a concrete shape to the action plan of the Commission. He said that every effort would be made to provide benefits of various schemes of the government to the general poor.
